The puzzle with the Lion Statue is one of many to solve at the police station in the Resident Evil 2. On this page we explain exactly how to solve the puzzle with the statue of a lion and how to get a lion medallion.
The description below concerns Leon's campaign.
The Lion Statue riddle is can be solved on the premises of the police station, namely on the second floor (2F) of the main hall.
You can solve the riddle immediately or after a sufficient promotion in the game. Upon reaching the Watchmen's Room (floor 1F, east of the building), Leon will fall into a policeman attacked by a zombie. This way you will get The Officer's Notebook.
It is worth seeing the newly acquired notebook in the hero's inventory. It contains a hint to solve the riddle.
In order to get to the riddle, reach the statue located on the first floor of the main hall - this place is shown on the screenshot below.
Interact with the statue. You must set the correct symbols in the three main slots:
- Select the crown symbol in the left slot.
- Select the lion symbol in the middle slot.
- Select a ram symbol in the right slot.
As a reward for solving the puzzle you will receive a Lion Medallion. This is one of the three medallions to be placed next to the statue on the ground floor of the main hall of the police station. As said in the notebook it's going to provide a passage to escape from the Police Station.
