Additional control settings in Resident Evil 2

The most important additional settings for determining the operation of the button responsible for running - Controls in Resident Evil 2 - Appendix - Resident Evil 2 Guide

The most important additional settings for determining the operation of the button responsible for running:

  1. Toggle mode - A single press of the button activates the running mode permanently. It will be switched off when the same button is pressed again. This is a better solution if you like to run a lot.
  2. Hold - Run is only activated for the duration of pressing and holding the button. This is a better solution if you prefer to explore the area carefully and you intend to use the running functions only when needed.

Other available control settings are:

  1. Auto-reload - The game can automatically reload weapons after consuming all the bullets from the magazine. It is worth leaving this option enabled.
  2. Reticle Deceleration - This function determines how much you want to release the viewfinder after targeting an opponent. By default, it has the lowest value and no help is offered. Increasing the value is helpful when targeting monsters.
  3. Aim Assist - This is a typical targeting assistant. It is disabled by default. Enable it if you have serious problems with hitting even the slowest zombies.
  4. Vibration - You can turn on or off the controller vibrations.
  5. Camera Inversion - You can enable the camera to move in the opposite direction to the analog knob. You can set this separately for aiming and normal gameplay.
  6. Field of View - You can change the field of view. It is a good idea to increase it to its maximum value.
  7. Camera Speed - You can change the sensitivity of the camera (separately for targeting and normal game). It's worth increasing the value for aiming if you want to kill monsters more efficiently or reduce it if you have problems with tracking them.
  8. Camera Wobble - The camera can wobble by default for better immersion. Disable this option if you want to focus as much as possible on making accurate shots.
