In Red Dead Online you unlock new ranks, which depend on your current experience level. Many players focus on getting the highest ranks, which will allow them to unlock new weapons, horses etc. So, how to get experience in the most effective way?

Where can you get a lot of experience in Red Dead Online?

Every activity in the game will reward you with some experience points, so you can get them doing various things in the game. However, two activities are more profitable than others if it comes to gaining experience:

1. Showdown series. The best way to get many experience points in Red Dead Online. If you win in Most Wanted mode, you'll get about 600 XP. Moreover, for every killed enemy and headshots you can get additional 300-500 XP. Of course, sometimes you can do poorly in a match, but overall it's worth trying this mode - you can get a lot of experience points, cash and gold nuggets.
2. Story missions. You'll fight many enemies in the story missions, so in addition to reward for completing the quest you'll get a lot of XP for killing opponents. In 10 minutes (the average duration of the mission) you can get many experience points, $25 and 8 gold nuggets. The most profitable is the "Kill them, each and every one" mission, which is short, easy and you just shoot your enemies.
