Realm Royale distinguishes itself from other battle royal games with several things. One such thing is crafting. In Realm Royale you will find specially designed forges, which are placed in the central part of each location (marked as anvil icon on the maps). In this chapter we discuss the details of this mechanic.
Forges are the only way to get the best equipment in Realm Royale. It is here that you can create legendary armor or even magical health potions. To even think about using a forge, you need to find the necessary materials. Materials are nothing else than shards, the orange crystals that you collect from the bodies of defeated enemies and destroyed objects, and chicken trophies (available only after the elimination of the enemy). To create a legendary class weapon, you need to collect as many as 200 shards (the maximum amount) and two chicken trophies.

When crafting items, you cannot get a duplicate of a skill or armor you are currently using (if legendary). This means that if you already possess and wear armor, boots and a helmet and create another piece of armor in your forge, you will get gloves to match. The same is true for class skills. If you currently own a legendary wall by playing as a mage, you will not get this skill again from your forge. This simplifies things and helps you get the skills and weapons you may expect to acquire. However, this case does not relate to the creation of ordinary legendary weapons. Here you have to count on a bit of luck, because you have no control over whether you get a legendary sword or a rifle.
There are two things you need to know when using a forge. The first is the limit on the number of items you can create. If you have already created a weapon, armor or class skill in a given city, you will be unable to create it again in the same place. This forces players to explore and keeps the number "forge camping" incidents to a minimum. So if you're in a situation where you can't create more items, mark another forge on the map (preferably the one within the fog circle) and go there to upgrade your equipment again.
The second thing is that you are particularly vulnerable when using a forge. You may have noticed the smoke coming from the building of the forge on many occasions. Smoke can mean only one thing - someone is using the forge at the moment. So be prepared for an enemy attack and defend the weapons and items you've created at all costs. If you leave, your opponents will certainly help themselves to your legendary treasures.
