Chronon Sources (act II) | Secrets Quantum Break Guide

Chronon Sources are the most valuable ones, allowing you to purchase new abilities. There are 60 of them to collect. To purchase every single ability in the game you must collect all of the Chronon Sources. When you are standing near one of them, the Time Vision icon will start to flash in yellow. You must then activate the ability to be able to see a Chronon Source, represented by a while cloud of light suspended in air. Below you can find information about the locations of all of the Chronon Sources.

Act II - Industrial Area

The first Chronon Source - allowing you to develop your time-affecting abilities.

The first Chronon Source will be collected soon at the beginning of this act. This is a story-related element and the location will be marked by the game.

A Chronon Source hidden behind boards.

The second one can be found after destroying the hook below the ceiling. You can find Chronon Source hidden behind the boards, on the back of the room.

A Chronon Source near a pillar.

Another source is located directly on your marching route. After the encounter in the room behind the boards, use the elevator to go to the upper floor. Activate Time Vision - after moving a few steps you will be able to see the collectible, hanging near a steel pillar.

A Chronon Source on a steel structure.

After meeting with Amy / Nick in the further part of the game, you will end up in a location with multiple wagons. Here you can acquire 3 of those collectibles. Locate the yellow wagon, which can be found next to the door leading to the building-destination. Climb up the wagon and onto the steel construction, and pick up the secret.

Jump from the wagon to the roof of the building, where you can collect the next secret.

The second source can be found in the same building as the gate switch you've just used. Jump out from the wagon and enter the building through the hole in the roof.

The third collectible is lying behind the gate.

The third Chronon Source is located opposite the gate you've entered the area through. You must jump onto a wagon, then on top of a blue container and through the steel fence.

Jump on the small roof to collect the last Chronon.

The last Chronon Source can be easily overlooked. After you enter the building, go through the door unlocked by your companion, defeat a group of enemies (you will unlock the Time Blast ability) and go outside, into an alley linking two entrances to this building. Above the second entrance you're headed to there's a small roof - you can jump on it from the garbage container, allowing you to collect the last secret in this area.

Act II - Ground Zero

Get on the elevation and go downstairs.

The first secret in this party can be found after the fight and going to the upper floor by using a makeshift elevator. After you get on the elevation, go down the stairs in the corner of the room, where the secret awaits you.

You can find a secret room behind the ventilation pipes.

The second Chronon Source can be found in the opposite (diagonally) corner of the room. While on the small roof above the entrance to the location, look for a large hole in the wall. Jump inside and collect the source

The secret is located above the yellow device

After getting out of the building, you will notice a yellow device standing in the middle of the street. The source can be found above it.

One of the sources can be found behind the tank in the warehouse.

After going through the white portable Monarch building, you will end up in front of an entrance to an old warehouse. Look for a large metal tank located near the left wall of the building - the source is hidden to the right of it.

The next secret can be found later in the act. After going through the ground zero and venturing into Monarch building again, leave the first room. You will end up at a small plaza. Go to the edge of it and pick up the collectible, lying in front of an elephant graffiti.

Chronon hidden behind Monarch barracks.

After leaving the Monarch building (after receiving a call of Paul) turn left, in the direction of the fence. There you will find your source.

The last source, hidden in the locker-room.

The last Chronon Source can be found just after the sixth one. After receiving a call from Paul, go through the parking lot and enter the locker-room. The source can be found behind a small shelf on the left side.

Act II - Bradbury Swimming Pool

The first source can be found lying on a bookstand on the attic.

The first secret is hard to miss, as it's located directly on your route. When you get to the attic of the swimming pool, use your Time Vision ability to locate the source on a bookstand.

Get out on a small roof through the open window.

After collecting the first source on the attic, go straight ahead from that place, where an exit (through an open window) leading to a small roof can be found. At the end of that roof you will see the collectible you're looking for.

The collectible is hanging behind the oven hood.

The next secret can be found by going to the lower floor, to the kitchen. Go through the white door located near the bar and pick up the collectible hanging behind the oven hood.

The secret in the storeroom can be easily missed.

When Beth is watching the recording from Will, go through a small corridor in the middle of the room - at its end, just above the ladder, there's your collectible.

You can find this secret in middle of the right half of the swimming pool.

This is the last Chronon Source in this level. It's located on the right side of the swimming pool, in the center of the room.
