Scientist | Enemies Quake 4 Guide

Strogg's scientists, who are caring out medical experiments on humans. They are also busy with the process of creating new soldiers. Scientists appear in one level (Strogg Medicial Facilities) and don't stand a chance of winning with experienced player (150 health points). They attack with chainsaw (very low damages) and with syringes, thrown in Kane's direction (poisonous liquid inside; it takes some health points and disturb normal vision for a while).

In the moment of running into Scientists you won't have big arsenal of weapons (and ammo) to choose from, therefore attack them with shotgun (two hits are enough). Try to avoid syringes - few unexpected hits received in the same time will cause you only trouble.
