Zygard Cube Pokemon Moon Guide

This chapter lists the locations of all fragments required for the activation of Zygard Cube. In all, you'll have to find 100 fragments to succeed. The section is divided into islands on which you can find the required fragments. Remember that some of the fragments are found only during certain time of the day.

Zygard Cube is a cube that stores all the fragments to unlock Zygard, a special pokemon that is upgraded when the amount of fragments reach a certain number. His first form is unlocked after gathering 10 fragments, the second - 25, and third for the collection of all 100. Your first opportunity to unlock the pokemon is on Route 16. There is a small building right next to Poke Center that allows you to create your new pokemon.

Zygarde

Lvl 30

He is a Dragon/Ground pokemon.

Zygard 50 core

He will have the same level as the previous evolution. To upgrade the base version, you'll need to find 50 fragments. Once you have them, visit Route 16, find the laboratory, and connect the fragments with the pokemon.

He is a Dragon/Ground pokemon.

Zygard 100 Core

It's the final form of Zygarde, and a very powerful pokemon. To unlock him, you need to find all 100 fragments of Zygard Cube.

Melemele Island

The fragments appear after you've managed to unlock the cube during the main quest.

  • 1/16 Visit the house in which you've began the game. Turn right and go straight ahead for some time (Day)
  • 2/16 The second fragment is found to the left from the house. Start walking in the direction of the village - you should see some stones that can be destroyed using Taurus. Do it and descend the stairs. The fragment is located by the tree. (Day)
  • 3/16 Found by Professor Kukui's house.
  • 4/16 Found at Kala'e Bay once you exit the cave that leads to the shore.
  • 5/16 The next one is found in pokemon trainer school - there is a pillow right next to the entrance. (Night)
  • 6/16 To find the next fragment, teleport to Hau'Oli Cemetery and proceed upwards. The fragment is found on the left side of the parking lot. (Night)
  • 7/16 Use Charizard to get to Route 3. Descend a bit, and you should see the fragment (Day).
  • 8/16 The next fragment is also found on Route 3. Go beyond the wooden bridge until you see a lone tree by the road which you are using. The fragment should be waiting for you there.
  • 9/16 The next fragment is found on Nau'Oli Cemetery. Look behind the first bush.
  • 10/16 Poke Center in Hau'Oli City (Night).
  • 11/16 The search for the next fragment will lead you to Poke Center in Hau'Oli. Go down. There should be a large black building on the right. Enter it and turn left. The fragment should be there.
  • 12/16 Travel to Iki Town. Use the stairs to get to the upper plane, and go behind the man who stands behind a large tree. (Night)
  • 13/16 The next fragment is found next to the ruins on this Island. If the bridge is collapsed, visit this location later.
  • 14/16 The final fragment is found in the area of the first trial in the game. Use Charizard to visit Route 2 and enter the cave. The fragment is by Ratatta's trial.
  • 15/16 The room in which you've began the game.
  • 16/16 Found in Kahuna Hala house, located in Iki Town right next to the platform for pokemon fights.

Akala Island

  • 1/19 The fragment is located behind the first hill, next to the woman with braids and a hat.
  • 2/19 To find the second fragment, use Charizard to get to Route 5. From there, go through Lush Jungle to the next area. Keep going forward, jump from the first step, and turn left. Fragment should appear after a moment.
  • 3/19 The next fragment is found near Route 7. Enter the area, and turn before the unlocked barricade that blocked access to the beach. Board Lapras and swim around the stones to get access to the second shore. The fragment is found by the water.
  • 4/19 is found by the entrance to Route 8, right next to the small laboratory.
  • 5/19 Don't leave Route 8 yet, but travel to Poke Center. Go down and turn right to reach a stony beach. You've just found the next fragment. (Day)
  • 6/19 The next fragment is found in Akala Outskirts. Go to the man with a white kimono who stands between three shrubbed areas. When you've noticed him, turn left and proceed that way until you find step leading below. The fragment is there.
  • 7/19 This fragment is found by the bottom entrance to Diglett's Tunnel. When you've reached the cave, go ahead until you find your prize.
  • 8/19 Visit Hano Beach. Go to the Hotel by the beach, and use the stairs to go down. The fragment is by the first umbrella. (Day)
  • 9/19 This fragment is also found at Hano Beach. This time go to the guy who gave you the quest to release Pyukumuku into the water. There is a life guard tower behind him, while the fragment is found below. (Day)
  • 10/19 Visit Poke Center in HeaHea City. Follow the road to the right until you see a guy with a blue tie and white shirt. There, enter right next to the wall which contains the fragment. (Night)
  • 11/19 This fragment is found in Heahea City Mansion. It's a building with a Horsea well. When you enter it, go to the room on the right, the fragment is right next to the sofa.
  • 12/19 Go to Konikoni City. Follow the road to the other end of the town until you see three Pikachu. (Night)
  • 13/19 The next fragment is found in Lush Jungle. When you enter the jungle, reach the place in which you need Machoke to get access to the cave. If you haven't pushed the stone, do it now.
  • 14/19 Go straight ahead until you see the bushes. Keep to the wooden fence until you see a fragment.
  • 15/19 The next fragment is found in the same place than the previous one. Follow the same instruction, but instead of keeping to the wooden fence, cross through the sandy hill. (Night)
  • 16/19 You are right next to Royal Battle Dome. Visit the location that allows you to pick some flowers. It is found next to Poke Center. Find the wooden bench and a lamp - the fragment is behind them. (Night)
  • 17/19 This fragment is also found in Royal Battle Dome. Visit the parking lot next to the supermarket. There is a piece between two cars.
  • 18/19 Get to Vela Volcania Park. Run straight ahead until you reach the first cave. Cross through. You'll find two ways behind it. Use the one below that contains stairs leading down. The fragment should appear after a moment.
  • 19/19 - The last fragment is found in Olivia's shop which is found in Konikoni City, opposite to Poke Center. Use the stairs to reach the first floor and search the room. You'll find the fragment there.

Ula'Ula Island

  • 1/31 Enter the area from the side of the city, and proceed forward. When you've reached the guy in a blue suit it means that you've reached your objective. (Day)
  • 2/31 The next fragment is found on Route 11. It can be found behind the man in a white kimono, before the entrance to Route 12. (Night)
  • 3/31 The fragment is at the beginning of Route 12 if you've accessed it from Route 11. You need to mount a horse and get behind the first stony road. You should see it now. (Day)
  • 4/31 The next fragment is found on Route 12. Proceed a bit further than previously. Finally, you'll see two people with whom you've had previously fought. The fragment is next to them. (Night)
  • 5/31 Found on Route 13 next to a trailer by the small pond.
  • 6/31 Route 13, a building next to a guy on a horse (Night)
  • 7/31 Located by the entrance of Route 14. Keep to the ruined road. (Night)
  • 8/31 This fragment is also found on Route 14. Keep to the shore the moment you've entered the location.
  • 9/31 Found on Route 15, on the beach next to Aether House.
  • 10/31 In the Aether House's left room. (Day)
  • 11/31 By Poke Center on Route 16. (Day)
  • 12/31 On Route 17, by the walls of Skull gang's city.
  • 13/31 This fragment can also be found on Route 17, by the sandy hill. To find him, reach the top and descend keeping to the right side.
  • 14/31 While visiting Blush Mountain, look for a guy in a white suit standing the entrance to the power plant.
  • 15/31 This fragment is found during your stay in Hakulani Observatory. Before you enter the trial room, follow the corridor to the left. The fragment is behind Magnemite. (Night)
  • 16/31 Found in Malie City. Visit the Poke Center, then start walking in the direction of Route 10. You should see two yellow cars after a while. The fragment is between them. (Day)
  • 17/31 Also found in Malie City. Reach the top of the town, and enter the building which is found there. Once you're inside, don't enter any rooms, just get to the end of the corridor. The fragment is found there. (Night)
  • 18/31 Time to visit Malie City Outer Cape. To get there, leave the city using the upper way. Go straight ahead - you should see a building with a parking lot. The fragment is found there. (Day)
  • 19/31 Found in Malie Garden at its end. Enter the gardens, and walk straight ahead. When you've found two small bridges, it means that you've almost there - the fragment is at the end of this road.
  • 20/31 Another fragment is found behind the first elevator at Mount Lanakila.
  • 21/31 You'll find it in Poke Center on Mount Lanakila. Follow the road that led to the encounter with the big four. The fragment is found on the road by the stone.
  • 22/31 This fragment is found in Po Town Trucks. Reach the headquarters, and instead of going in, turn left. You'll find a yellow car - the fragment is next to it.
  • 23/31 The next fragment is found in the same location as the previous one, but on the opposite side. Check near the red car.
  • 24/31 Found on Haina Desert. When you've entered the desert, go one area up, and then turn right and proceed forward. You'll find a small fern - the fragment is next to it.
  • 25/31 Once again, Haina Desert. Go two areas forward from the previous location to reach the Ruins. The fragment is hidden inside.
  • 26/31 Secluded Shore. It's a small beach that is located before the entrance to the area with a small pond. Fragment is found on the sand, to the right from the entrance. (Night)
  • 27/31 The fragment is found in the same location as the previous one, but this time, keep to the left side of the beach. (Day)
  • 28/31 Found in Tapu Village, before the Poke Center. Make a 180 degree turn, and walk until you find a fence.
  • 29/31 This fragment is found in Ula'ula Meadow, near the entrance to the area. All you have to do is walk a bit on the path built from wooden planks.
  • 30/31 The next fragment is also found on Ulu'ula Meadow. Instead of using the upper path, turn right. You should see it behind the green bush.
  • 31/31 - Found on Route 17 in the house containing a lot of Meowths.

Poni Island

  • 1/28 Found near the entrance to Vast Poni Canyon. Before you visit the location, turn left until you see a stone symbol - the fragment is found there. (Night)
  • 2/28 Found near the crossroads in Ancient Poni Path. (Day)
  • 3/28 Also found in Ancient Poni Path, near Grandma Hapu house. There is a well on the right - the fragment is located next to it.
  • 4/28 Found on Poni Braker Coast right next to a big geyser. (Day)
  • 5/28 Poni Braker Coast - right before the entrance to Ruins of Hope (Night)
  • 6/28 This fragment is found at the beginning of Poni Grove. Go straight ahead until you find a gleaming fragment.
  • 7/28 Poni Grove - the fragment is found before the entrance to Poni Plains.
  • 8/28 Located at the beginning of Poni Plains. (Day)
  • 9/28 Also found on Poni Plains. Keep to the right side of the area. The fragment is next to moving bushes. (Night)
  • 10/28 Poni Plains - keep to the left side of the area and destroy the stones lying on the road using Tauros. Descend the stairs. The fragment should appear before you. (Night)
  • 11/28 You'll find it on Poni Meadow. Run straight ahead until you see two stone pillars. Go around them and collect the fragment, which is situated on one of them.
  • 12/28 Found in Resolution Cave. When you enter the cave, choose the road that is below the stone pillar. Keep to the main road without drifting to side passages. The fragment is found near the entrance to the further part of the cave.
  • 13/28 Also found in Resolution Cave. To find it, go to the next part of the cave. The fragment is found right by the entrance.
  • 14/28 This time, go straight ahead. Climb onto a small embankment and take the fragment.
  • 15/28 Found on Poni Coast. Keep to the coast on the right, and destroy the stone that appeared using Tauros - the fragment is behind it.
  • 16/28 Stay on Poni Coast. The fragment is found a bit farther than the previous one - you'll need Tauros to unlock the way.
  • 17/28 Found near the entrance to Ruins of Hope.
  • 18/28 Found on Poni Gauntlet behind a small wooden bridge that doesn't lead further any further.
  • 19/28 Also found on Poni Gauntlet. This time follow the Bridges that are located to the left. The fragment is found on the final, longer bridge.
  • 20/28 Found in Seafolk Village. Stand in front of the Poke Center and run to the right. Eventually, you'll see a construction site. There, on the planks in the middle of it, you'll find the fragment.
  • 21/28 Also found in Seafolk Village, but this time in the restaurant. The fragment is below the wooden table.
  • 22/28 Poni Wilds. When you leave the town, turn right. After a little trek, you should find a sandy embankment. (Day)
  • 23/28 Poni Wilds. This time, go to the beach which is to the right.
  • 24/28 Poni Wilds. To find this fragment, go to the top of the location, and keep to the right side. You should see a berry tree after a moment - the fragment is below. (Night)
  • 25/28 Found in Vest Poni Canyon. Go to the upper area, and destroy the first stones found on the right. Cross through a small passageway and go to the top of the canyon.
  • 26/28 Vest Poni Canyon. To find this fragment, go to the left from the location of the previous fragment. Leave the cave and cross through a large wooden bridge. You'll reach the next cave. The fragment is lying right next to two holes used by Digletts to appear.
  • 27/28 The last fragment in Vest Poni Canyon is found behind three stones that are moved by Machoke. Leave the cave using the exit below, and proceed to the left. The fragment is behind the bushes.
  • 28/28 Found in Grandma Hapu's home on Ancient Poni Path. When you've entered the house, go to a room behind the violet door. The fragment is inside.

Aether Paradise

  • 1/5 Found after a fight with a trio of opponents. Located on floor B2F, on at the end of the road which was accessed through the door on the right.
  • 2/5 After you cross through floor B2F, you should reach an exterior location with a number of people from Team Skull. Instead of attacking them at once, try turn left and proceed as far as you can. The fragment is behind the stairs.
  • 3/5 (Floor B2F) Found after defeating Guzma. You have to turn left.
  • 4/5 Found before the entrance to Lusamine's house, below a small cupboard with a lamp.
  • 5/5 Before the main entrance to Aether Paradise. When you've completed the flight using Charizard, turn left - the fragment is between the pools. (Night)
