In Pokemon Quest, you control a team of 3 heroes of your choice. On this page, we will provide you with a list of features that should be taken into account when creating your team.
Each pokemon has a certain level; you can increase it during combat or training. Depending on the level, the hero has more health, stronger attacks and more room for improvements. It is therefore worth taking care of a well-trained hero and exchanging them constantly if there is a better hero at a higher level.
Some characters, even on high levels, can use only one attack. This makes them virtually useless against at least half of the in-game opponents. Some characters have attacks that have different range; others can push enemies back with one attack while being able to deal damage with the second one. These attacks are all very useful - having a pokemon with only one attack is a bad idea.
Slots for upgrades
The upgrades are a vital part of Pokemon Quest. They're unlocked gradually during expeditions. Some pokemon have a better skill tree than others. If you get the chance - get one of the pokemon that have more slots for upgrades.
Types of pokemon
This isn't a very important part of the game, but it's worth making sure that your whole team doesn't consist of pokemon of a single type. Different attacks will sometimes come in handy. Have at least one pokemon that stands out from the rest of your crew.
