Available subquests - Final - Subquests - FINAL MISSION - Maelstrom - Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Available subquests:

1. Crab Pendants - Find and pick up four crab pendants.

This is the final mission of the single player campaign, so the game won't make it too easy for you to succeed. As a result, you will have some problems collecting all four pendants. You will have to be quick in acquiring them, especially since you won't be allowed to return for some of the pendants. You will also have to focus on doing other things at the same time. Check the main description for this mission if you want to find out more about this.

2. Defeat Enemies - Try and outsmart at least eight enemy units.

I guess you might have some problems understanding what has to be done in order to fulfill this mission objective. You won't be allowed to defeat enemies using standard types of attacks. Also, you won't have to perform any Ole maneuvers. Instead, you will have to contribute to something else. The objective here will be to let the boss character kill them. Check the main description if you want to find out how to do this. You should also take a closer look at the description of the third subquest, because you'll be completing them at the same time. You should also know that you will have plenty of opportunities to fulfill this mission objective, however you will be going against these types of attacks only during the first part of the mission, so you won't be allowed to stall these actions for too long.

3. Destroy Targets - Allow the boss character to destroy six groups of crates.

Like I've said before, quests (2) and (3) are tied together, however this one seems to be the more important and difficult one. The main reason is you will have to destroy crates, however you won't be doing this on your own. As a result, you must follow a certain path in order to fulfill this goal. Once again, I urge you to check the main description, because you should be able to find a very precise info there. Your objective will be to stand near designated crates long enough to attract the attention of the boss creature. As a result, these crates are going to be destroyed. The boss will either use a lightning or a tornado. You will also have to perform successful dodge maneuvers in order to avoid losing a lot of health points.

4. Hit Combo - Perform a x21 hit-combo.

I guess you may be surprised by the fact that it's going to be one of the most difficult side goals of the entire game. The main reason is that you won't have a lot of opportunities to score such a combo sequence. You will be changing your current locations very often and you will also have to focus your attention on two previous goals. It seems that your only chance for a high scored combo sequence is going to be one of the final battles, however you will be going against elite units, so you will have to be prepared for successful counter-attacks done by these monsters.
