Types of Heroes Paladins Guide

In Paladins: Champions of the Realm, the player can choose between 4 types of heroes. Each class has a different task, so make a choice that will benefit he whole team. A solid team is the key to success. Take your time to study all the heroes and test them in action - try to stay versatile and avoid limiting to only one type of heroes.

Front Line

The heroes that fight in the first line are not able to deal serious damage, but they are very resistant, and can use various enhancements and energy shields. Their task is to be the focus of enemy attacks and to soak damage, so that the rest of the team can do their job. This type of hero receives 100% more credits when they are near an important objective. This group includes Barik, Fernando, Makoa and Ruckus.

Damage

Damage heroes are responsible for damage dealing and elimination of enemies. They are the main focus of enemy team, so they have to stay behind the defender or attack from a safe position. The main challenge for players playing this class is finding and maintaining a right position to strike. As a result of their high attack power, the attackers are rather easy to kill. This group includes Bomb King, Cassie, Drogoz, Kinessa, Sha Lin, Tyra, Viktor.

Support

This type of heroes is endowed with abilities that support their allies, including healing spells or defense shields. Support heroes are very vulnerable, so they have to keep their distance, and let the rest of the team defend them. Heroes of his type are not particularly strong and endurant, but they are the backbone of every team. The group consists of Grohk, Grover, Mal'Damba, Pip, Ying.

Flank

Flank heroes are the ones who encircle the enemy and attempt a sneak attack from a convenient location. A flanking attack or a backstab may force a good formation to disrupt, and the enemies will be open for an attack. Mostly, wingmen are very mobile heroes, allowing swift movement around the battlefield. Their attacks have to be thought out - if the enemy group smell the trap, they may quickly finish the flanker. The group consists of Androxus, Buck, Evie and Skye.
