How to get clean water and Waterskin in Outward? Outward Guide and Walkthrough

In Outward, you need to take care of your character's needs. If you don't drink water, your stats will drop. The quality of water is important, too. Salty or dirty water will cause a disease (affecting your stats). Some diseases go away over time, but there a few of them that have to be cured with a special potion.

Where can I find Waterskin?

Waterskin can be found at the water filtering device in the first town. You can also buy it from merchants. You can carry only a few units of this item. The bags can't be destroyed - you have to refill them.

Water weights a bit. Keep that in mind - you don't want to overburden your character.

Where can I find clean water?

The water filtering device, located in Cierzo near the beach, is your first unlimited source of clean water. Go there to quench your thirst and to get supplies of clean water.

Clean water is also in caves. Water can be found on a cave's walls.

What will happen when I drink undrinkable water?

If you drink dirty or salted water, you will get a disease. It will lower your stats. This effect should disappear after a few minutes. Don't fight when your character is weakened. Wait until you are fully recovered.
