Purifier Site
After starting the Scorched Lands Expedition, you must clear the area in front of the main gate. Enemies will attack you in waves, and you should focus primarily on Alpha Perforo and Sciathans. As soon as you spot a flying creature, fire at it to bring it down, which will make it easier to finish the monster off.
At the last stage of this sequence, an Elite Brood Mother will appear at the main gate, but first it's worth eliminating the smaller creatures that will start coming from the side sectors of this location.
Once the situation is under control, focus all your firepower on the Elite unit, but don't get too close, because one accurate hit from this enemy can take away more than half of your health points.
Crane
Outside the gate you will encounter a large group of Alpha Perforo and many other minor enemies. Then, start firing at the Elite Crawler that will enter the arena and take it out as quickly as possible.
In the final stage of this sequence, up to two Elite Brood Mother creatures will show up on the arena, shielded by a large group of smaller Perforos. Focus on one enemy first, then eliminate the other.
Body of water
The fight at the body of water is the most difficult part of the Scorched Lands Expedition. Here, you will be attacked from all sides by numerous groups of various monsters.
Right after you enter this area, you will be attacked by a big group of Calloused Maulers and an Elite Wasteland Behemoth. Try to finish off the Elite creature before it charges at you, and be prepared to dodge sideways if the monster suddenly jumps at you.
Then, you will be attacked by a big Perforo squad, which includes Venomois Perforo and the very aggressive Alpha Perforo.
In the third round of the fight at the body of water, you will fight the Calloused Maulers and an Elite Behemoth again.
It's best to stay at the entrance to this location now, as two Crawlers will also appear in the distance - by the time they reach you, you'll probably be able to deal with the Behemoth.
When the first Crawler reaches you, try to finish the creature off before another Elite of the same type joins it. Once the threat is eliminated, activate the pump to drain the body of water and reveal the Drop Pod.
Once the reservoir is drained, the location will be flooded with all sorts of creatures, including a large group of Alpha Perforos, Elite Behemoths and Brood Mother.
Don't let them push you against the wall during the fight, because it will be hard to get out of such a trap.
When Sciathans start flying over the location, focus your fire on them, bring them down to the ground and eliminate them as quickly as possible so that they don't disrupt the fight any more.
On the final stage of this Expedition, you will have to face an Elite Brood Guardian, who will appear on the map alongside many Perforos. It's best to defeat the mini-bosses first and finish the Brood Guardian off then. After eliminating all enemies, you will be able to open the Drop Pod and collect your reward.
