On this page of the Outriders game guide, you will find a walkthrough of the Boom Town Expedition, along with tips that may come in handy as you progress through this mission.
Hideout
Once the Expedition begins, your first task will be to to fight against a large squad of enemy units that are defending access to their hideout. These enemies can deal significant amounts of damage and they can inflict the Burn status, so you need to constantly monitor your character's Health level. Special attention should be paid to Elite soldiers and the hidden snipers, who are constantly scouring the area with laser sights in search of a target.
Once you enter the spacious cave, you will have to fight another wave of enemies. The enemy units will include regular shooters, but also the melee fighting berserkers and hidden snipers.
Inner courtyard
Once you enter the inner courtyard of the hideout, you will have to fight another large group of soldiers, which will include several snipers and Elite units. Among your opponents will be the Captain, who can inflict the Frozen status effect.
Once you enter the courtyard, it's a good idea to utilize nearby cover to shield yourself from the snipers' laser sights. The barricade will also protect you from being attacked simultaneously from multiple sides, allowing you to focus on eliminating the captain.
Dr. Detonator
A large welcoming committee awaits you in the main Hall of the hideout. As usual, there will be regular soldiers among the opponents, along with berserkers, shooters and elite units. These opponents will attack from all sides, so if your character doesn't have great Health recovery capabilities, it's a good idea to make use of the available cover.
Once all of the opponents are eliminated, the boss Dr. Detonator will appear in the arena. It's a good idea to focus him down and eliminate him before additional units and the Elite Captains appear in the square, as they have the ability to Freeze your character. Once all of the opponents are defeated, you will be able to open the capsule and claim your prize.
