This page of the guide to Oddworld Soulstorm features the second part of the walkthrough of the final Mission 17 - Eye of the Storm. You will learn how to correctly complete the Crushing Chamber, Sanitization Chamber, Tear Fermentation Chamber, The Eye, Bone Refinery and Spice Grinder. You will also learn how to avoid the big eye attacks and how to destroy the Chant Suppressors.

Your main task in this mission is to activate 5 Mixer Pumps and to do this, you need to complete the Processing Zones. This will allow you to mix the antidote ingredients. You will visit the following locations in a pre-determined order.
Go right and perform a long double jump to avoid the mines and jump to a distant shelf.
When you get to the Crushing Chamber, go down the ladder. You can find machines with free Rock Candy and Rubberbands - you can make as much Bouncy Candy s you want. You can go back with them right away and use Bouncing Candy to destroy the recently passed tank.
Now, investigate the area around the damaged tank. In the location visible in picture 1 there were some shelves, to which you can jump. You will reach a long ladder and go up to a higher level.
You will reach a Secret Area, which contains a Royal Jelly, lockers with padlocks (useful for getting the Keymaster badge) and 4 Mudokons to recruit. Go a bit left with the Mudokons and activate the Bird Portal. You can now go down the ladder carefully and return to the Crushing Chamber area.
There are 3 Sligs in the Crushing Chamber, but Abe cannot reach them. Instead, you will have to use possession. After possessing each Slig, set them on the surrounding pressure plate and end the possession. Each such action will add a new green connection.
The machines on the left should be switched on. You can now use this path, but make sure Abe doesn't get crushed. There are 2 Mudokons to recruit in the area.
On the other side of the operating machines is a triangular Circuit Breaker. Use Chanting here and direct the Chi Orb towards the breaker. This will activate the first out of five pumps.
Go right with the Mudokons and go round the working machines carefully. The exit from this location unlocked in its lower right part. Keep moving right.
Start by recruiting 3 new Mudokons, and order everyone to stay here. Reach the upper shelves.
Abe's task is to avoid the flames and use the Monkey Bars. You have to jump at the right moments to avoid catching on fire. Take your time, and if necessary, wait between the flames until they turn the other way.
Your climb will also be disturbed by flying mines. Try to plan your next moves in advance, because touching a mine will kill Abe immediately. You will fortunately find some side shelves along the way, where you can stop for a while and save the game state (and search the lockers, too).
Additional hint - if Abe caught fire from one of the traps, you can try to quickly reach the nearest shelf and start rolling on it to extinguish the flames.
Your goal is to reach the Circuit Breaker located at the very top of this location. Use Chanting to activate the second pump. The flames will go out, but the mines will continue to fly around the area.
Carefully return to the bottom, summon the Mudokons and start going right. You'll meet 2 Mudokons to recruit along the way. Right next to the right checkpoint is a Bird Portal, which allows you to rescue all your allies. Here, as a reward, you can also receive 1 charge of the special power Shrykull.
You will meet a group of Sligs along the way, and this is a good spot to do what is required for the Slig Apprehender and Brewnade badges. You can stun/eliminate the enemies in any way you want.
After reaching the long ladder, go down first. You will reach a Secret Area shown in the picture, which contains a Royal Jelly and padlocked lockers. After exploring the secret location, return to the top and go right.
Tear Fermentation Chamber
You'll begin at a closed yellow gate. Climb the shelves on the left. In the first machine you can pick up a free fire extinguisher, which will be useful in a few moments. Other machines allow you to pick up free Brew Bottles and buy Batteries.
Remember that you can collect the ingredients to make a flamethrower. If you explored the previous locations thoroughly, then you should only need a Steel Hose to complete the set - you should find it in the left part of the currently explored location.
Get rid of the Slig from the top shelf and pull the lever to switch the elevators on. It will take you to a higher level. There's another Slig in there.
Use the Brew Bottles to create a path of fire between the sparks and the barricade on the right shown in the picture. Set it on fire and unlock the entrance to the location on the right.
Here, there's a risk that the flames might start spreading too quickly and put the lives of the Mudokons nearby in danger. In such case, use the fire extinguisher to partially or completely put the fire out.
After the barricade is destroyed, extinguish the flames and move to the right. Use possession on the Slig with a flamethrower. Use him to destroy the wooden elements of the structure to the left and then stun him.
Recruit 4 Mudokons, have them follow you to the right and then tell them to stop. You can use the flamethrower Slig again to destroy more barricades on the left that will now pose no more threat to the waiting Mudokons.
If you got rid of the Slig with the flamethrower by accident, you can reach the last barricades from the left side and set them on fire with Brew Bottles.
There is still the left side of the chamber to explore, and you will start from the top level. You need to destroy the wooden structure marked in the picture - you can create a path of fire from the central sparks, or use a Brewnade cocktail, for example.
Put out the fire with the fire extinguisher, eliminate the Sligs from this area in any way, and recruit 2 Mudokons. There's a Circuit Breaker at the bottom. Use Chanting next to it and direct the Chi Orb at it.
Call all Mudokons recruited in this location. An exit has been unlocked to the right, which allows you to leave the Tear Fermentation Chamber. You will find a Bird Portal on the main path, and sending at least 5 Mudokons through it will reward you with a charge of the Shrykull power.
As you're going right, you can explore the upper shelf with boxes and lockers, and attack new Sligs or bypass them by jumping to the bars.
Along the way, you will have to use a ladder and a hand-operated elevator. After sliding down, use Fizzy Pow to destroy the metal floor in picture 1. This will allow you to explore an optional lower path. You will reach a Secret Area shown in picture 2, which contains a Royal Jelly and padlocked lockers.
Additionally, the secret location contains a Moolah Gate, which has been marked in the picture. If you have at least 100 Moolah, you can open it (there's also a recycling station here if you're short of cash). Behind the gate, you will find 5 Mudokons to recruit and a Bird Portal that lets you send them right away.
Go back all the way to the top and continue to the right.
The Eye - how to avoid the big eye?
Soon, you will reach The Eye, where a big red eye will appear. It will hunt Abe. You need to move away from the yellow beams, because they mean that the eye is about to shoot. It will happen after a few seconds. The beam can kill Abe on the spot. It also always sets the surrounding area on fire. You can put these fires out with the fire extinguisher, jump over them or wait for sprinklers to turn on as you progress in this scene.
Your task is to destroy 5 Chant Suppressors, of which two are located in the lower part of the location with the eye. You need to watch out for Sligs along the way - you can stun/kill them while waiting for the reinforcements to come from the nearby Guard Posts.
Each time, you have to stand in front of the Chant Suppressor and wait for the eye to start preparing to shoot. Quickly move away and let the big red ray destroy the Chant Suppressor.
On the way to the higher balconies, you need to watch out for the Slig with a minigun patrolling the middle level - you can stun, kill or go around him.
You will meet Sligs on the upper balconies, too, and it's worth dealing with most of them so that you can easily take care of the main mission objective. To attack the Sligs, it's good to use the Bouncy Binding Candy, but you can also use other gadgets.
There are 3 Chant Suppressors in the area. You need to use the bars to get to them. Hang in front of the Chant Suppressor and, as before, wait for the eye to start tracking you. Jump off and let the Chant Suppressor be destroyed.
After destroying 5 Chant Suppressors, return to the lowest level. You can use Chanting on the Circuit Breaker in the location visible in the picture.
Before you leave this place it is worth to collect as many as 6 pieces of Royal Jelly, which can be found in different parts of the described location. Use the newly unlocked mobile platform only after finding all collectibles.
After reaching the new balconies, head to the right. As you go, look for the tank from picture 1. Hitting it with any candy will cause the balconies to lower, which Abe can now jump to.
Start climbing up the long ladder. This will bring you to the Secret Area visible in picture 2. Here, you can find a Royal Jelly, a recycling station, vending machines selling Brew Bottle, Rubberbands, Gum and Batteries, as well as lockers and other containers. Carefully go back to the bottom and keep going further.
Next to the new checkpoint you will find vending machines with free Fizzy Pop, Blastos and Gum. This will allow you to make Sticky Fizzy Pow for free, which will help you solve the local puzzles.
Throw the Sticky Fizzy Pow at the machine marked in the picture, but only after it lowers. The machine will go up and the cargo will explode when gets close to a Slig. Once you eliminate him, you can pull the lower lever and unlock your way further. Naturally, make sure that Abe doesn't touch any of the traps along the way.
Jump through the flames and land at the checkpoint, which is below some active sprinkles. Abe should also catch the Royal Jelly in mid-air
Go right and reach the new vending machines with free Blastos and Gum. You need to use the Sticky Fizzy Pow again - throw it at the lower part of the machine marked in the picture, moving right. The charge will explode after getting close to a Slig and kill him.
You have to use the Sticky Fizzy Pow once more, this time to hit the Slig visible in the attached picture. It's best to throw it from a hanging position.
Wait for the right moment to reach the lever and pull it. You can now reach the Circuit Breaker on the right, use Chanting next to it, and direct the Chi Orb at the switch.
Before you leave this place, examine the lowest corridor shown in the picture, which you can reach by turning off the flames after getting rid of the Sligs. There are 6 Mudokons to recruit here. To set them free, you need Fizzy Pow or Sticky Fizzy Pow - blow up one of the balconies over the Mudokons.
Use the Bone Refinery exit and move to the right. Soon, you will reach the Bird Portal and rescue all the escorted Mudokons.
Stay where you arrived after exiting the Bone Refinery. You can go down the shelves in the location visible in picture 1 Perform a long double jump on the balcony from picture 2 to jump to the platform with the last Royal Jelly.
Keep moving left to reach the last Secret Area. Start by examining the lockers and returning the empty bottles to the recycling machine. Going further to the left, you will come across a new Moolah Gate - like the previous one, it requires spending 100 Moolah. Once it's open, you can recruit 5 Mudokons and immediately send them through the Bird Portal that's available here.
Carefully return to the starting point and start going to the right.
Stop when you reach the locked gate. Purposely stand under the scanner to set off the alarm, and use possession on the flying Slig. You have to control the Slig and avoid the working machines and mines along the way. Optionally, you can shoot the "ordinary" Sligs below, but be careful not to hit the Mudokons.
As you're solving this puzzle, you will find some levers. They unlock a shortcut and if you lose the Flying Slig, you will be able to use the shortened route after possessing another opponent.
The part from the image above may be more challenging. You need to fly right, then hide at the bottom of the vertical shaft, quickly fly up behind one of the moving machines and use the left hole.
Finally, you need to use the Flying Slig to reach the lever marked in the picture, which is located directly above the Circuit Breaker. Just like many times before, you have to use Chanting and bring the Chi Orb to the switch.
