The villagers are also a part of your clan. They gather food and build new objects. Unfortunately, most of the buildings require workers. To send a villager to work, choose him on the map, point to a chosen building, and press the right mouse button.

If the given building can hold employees, it will be shown by the icon next to your cursor.

You can send the employees to different buildings - the settler will automatically switch his current place of employment. However, if you want to revert an employee back to his original form, simply send him to a house or a town hall.
