Ways of communicating in No Man's Sky NEXT No Man's Sky 2022 Guide

The multiplayer mode in No Man's Sky allows players to complete missions and explore the worlds together. Because of that the developers have created 3 ways in which the players can communicate with each other. In this chapter you can find their descriptions.
Gestures
To perform a gesture, you have to press X and open the quick menu. There, select "gestures" tab. Pick a gesture you want to use. You can point to a point or simply be nice to someone by waving your hand when they are flying away.
Voice chat
The voice chat activates automatically every time you run No Man's Sky. Remember to turn it off if you don't want to be heard by others. To mute yourself or other players you have to open the menu and go to the audio options.
This method is fast and save. Sadly, you can't report players who cause problems or offend others.
Text chat
Text chat can be activated both in single and multiplayer modes. Press Enter to display the chat icon. Here, you can talk with your friends. We didn't notice any censorship.
The chat window also informs you about findings of other players.
