The production has several game modes. Choosing a specific option affects the smoothness of the gameplay. This page of the NiOh 2 guide provides an overview of this aspect of gameplay.

You can select the game mode when you run the game for the first time. After that, you can change it in the settings. We recommend testing each of them. This way you will be able to determine which one guarantees you the best gameplay experience, while maintaining its smoothness.

You will find the following modes:

1. Action mode - get high frame rate at a cost of reduced graphics. In this mode, the game has a variable frame rate with a limit to max. 60 fps.
2. Movie mode - the game runs at a fixed 30 frames per second.
3. Movie mode with unlocked framerate - there is no frame rate limit, but the game still aims to offer better graphics.
