In Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden heroes can proceed to subsequent battles with more than one weapon or throwing item. On this page, we explain how to choose weapons for team members and how to change weapons or grenades during combat.
Before you start the battle, you have to make sure that your equipment is available in it. In combat, you can only use weapons and grenades that the hero has set in the active slots. In the example above picture Farrow will be able to use Boomstick rifle, Slinger rifle, EMP grenade, Molotov cocktail, and a frag grenade. Inactive items from the team's inventory cannot be used during combat.
After you start fighting, first select an action concerning the use of weapons (default key 2 on the PC) or throwing an object (default key 4 on the PC). You can swap for another weapon or grenade:
- Press X key on the PC.
- Press Square on PlayStation 4.
- Press X on Xbox One.
{ramkaniebieska}Changing a weapon to a grenade does not consume action points. You can do this as many times as you like to check your opponent's chances of hitting with the other weapon you have.
