Trophy type: gold - Trophy list of Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden - Basics - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Trophy type: gold.

How to unlock: Collect 100% of artifacts from Pripp's wishlist.

Commentary: Artifacts are one of the secrets (collectibles) in Mutant Year Zero. In the game world there are a total of 12 of them to be found, and each of them can be identified by the purple glow (an example artifact is shown in the above picture). Consult the Artifacts section of our guide, where you will find their locations.

20 Seconds to Comply...

Trophy type: silver - Trophy list of Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden - Basics - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Trophy type: silver.

How to unlock: Destroy Mimir Z600.

Commentary: Mimir Z600 is a giant mech from The Unenlightened. The battle against it will be very easy if you use an EMP grenade, which will immobilize the mech for a few turns. This will allow you to strip it of its energy pool with standard attacks before it restarts. More information can be found in our world atlas.

50% Old Skool

Trophy type: silver.

How to unlock: Collect 50% of artifacts from Pripp's wishlist.

Commentary: Refer to the description of the 100% Old Skool trophy.

50 Shades of Death

Trophy type: silver - Trophy list of Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden - Basics - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Trophy type: silver.

How to unlock: Kill Grey-One.

Note: Chief Grey One is a mini-boss appearing in Lair of the Horned Devil. The area is an optional zone found in the north-eastern corner of the map. Chief Grey One uses a sniper rifle and is on 45 experience level. Proceed only if your party has the same level. Moreover, watch out for accompanying opponents - Tank and Mimir Z600.

And Stay Down!

Trophy type: bronze - Trophy list of Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden - Basics - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Trophy type: bronze.

How to unlock: Knock down 10 enemies using "Hog Rush".

Commentary: Hog Rush is one of the active abilities that you can unlock and set for Bormin. Target any opponent within the range of the ability and launch an action to knock them down. Repeat it 9 more times. It's worth playing on normal difficulty level, so your ability will regenerate automatically after each fight.

Anti-Mechanic

Trophy type: bronze - Trophy list of Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden - Basics - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Trophy type: bronze.

How to unlock: Process 40 "mechanical people" into parts.

Commentary: Mechanical people are all the various kinds of robots encountered in the game world, e.g. medical or military bots. A lot of bots can be found in Metal Fields. Generally, try to destroy all the robots you encounter and don't skip any fight against them.

Bormin Smash!

Trophy type: bronze.

How to unlock: Kill an enemy by dropping them from height.

Commentary: To unlock this achievement, you need Bormin's active ability Hog Rush. Unlock it and set it as active. From now on, look for enemies standing on the edges of roofs or on small rock shelves. You have to push an enemy, so as to make fall from height. To be sure, you can also first weaken an enemy with ordinary attacks.

Butterfingers!

Trophy type: bronze - Trophy list of Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden - Basics - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Trophy type: bronze.

How to unlock: Make a pyro drop its molotov and kill your enemy for you.

Commentary: Pyro Ghoul (example on the picture above) drops its bottle of gasoline at the moment of death. For trophy purposes, weaken a group of enemies and execute the finishing attack on a Pyro when any other ghoul with low health is standing next to it.. A good opportunity to get this achievement appears in The Grogg Den, as the location is full of pyroghuls - perform the action when there are a few ghuls close to each other.

Trophy type: bronze.

How to unlock: Reprogram the ghoul-owned MIMIR Z600.

Commentary: The opportunity to reprogram the mech appears in the Lair of the Horned Devil location. Full instructions on how to reset the Mimir Z600 can be found in the description of this area in our World Atlas. As a reminder, you must select the side entrance to the enemy camp (shown in picture 1) and start sneaking around avoiding detection. Reach the main building with a single hero, climb the ladder on the upper balconies and reach the control panel from picture 2, which is located behind the mech. Using it will reset the machine. After that, once the battle starts the huge robot will attack everyone without exception (and not only your team members).

Extraction

Trophy type: silver - Trophy list of Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden - Basics - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Trophy type: silver.

How to unlock: Free Hammon from the hands of Nova.

Commentary: This achievement is connected to the progress of the main storyline. Hammon is imprisoned in the nuclear bunker in the World Ender. It is a north-eastern corner of the map. In the bunker there will be no enemies, so you only have to find a cell with Hammon.

Fitness Club

Trophy type: bronze - Trophy list of Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden - Basics - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Trophy type: bronze.

How to unlock: Free the slaves from Lux's basement.

Commentary: Your first meeting with Lux will take place in The Castle of Light and he will ask the party to retrieve a key held by mutants in the nearby location of The Unenlightened. When you return with the key to The Castle of Light, don't give it to Lux, but use it to open the basement shown in the picture. This is where the slaves are kept.

Freak Out!

Trophy type: gold - Trophy list of Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden - Basics - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Trophy type: gold.

How to unlock: Unlock all mutations in the tree skills of all characters.

Commentary: Comments: For the purpose of unlocking this achievement you need to lead a quite unique gameplay style. The number of opponents and battles in the game is limited. You may not have enough development points to unlock all mutations if you buy stat bonuses, i.e. permanent bonuses from the right column - we marked those in red in the picture above. Ignore these bonuses and focus only on buying mutations (each of your heroes has 8 of them to unlock). This will increase the level of challenge (permanent bonuses guarantee e.g. longer health bars), so it's worth playing at the normal difficulty level.

This trophy requires you to gain a very large number of experience points. As a reminder, XP is awarded for defeating enemies. Explore all locations in the game world, including the optional ones. Beat all enemies in each location you visit. Return to locations where there were strong enemies and you couldn't eliminate them because your party was under leveled at the time.

Frying Tonight!

Trophy type: bronze - Trophy list of Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden - Basics - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Trophy type: bronze.

How to unlock: Kill 10 enemies with "Chain Lightning".

Commentary: Chain Lightning is one of the active abilities that you can unlock and set for Magnus. Try to fire it after weakening your enemies and preferably when several of them are close to each other. This will allow the discharges to jump to other enemies. It's a good idea to play on normal difficulty level, so your ability will regenerate automatically after each fight.

Get Back to the Ark!

Trophy type: bronze - Trophy list of Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden - Basics - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Trophy type: bronze.

How to unlock: Return to the Ark.

Commentary: The achievement is unlocked with story progression. You'll acquire it early in the game. You just need to reach Ark Outskirts and use the elevator travelling to Ark (screenshot above).

Green Fingers

Trophy type: bronze - Trophy list of Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden - Basics - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Trophy type: bronze.

How to unlock: Immobilize 10 enemies with "Tree Hugger".

Commentary: The Tree Hugger is one of the active abilities that you can unlock and set for Selma. It's area-based, so try to fire it when several enemies are close to each other. It's worth playing on normal difficulty level, so your ability will regenerate automatically after each fight.

Huntress

Trophy type: bronze - Trophy list of Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden - Basics - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Trophy type: bronze.

How to unlock: Meet Selma and convince her to join your party.

Commentary: Selma is a potential party member - you will meet her in a forest camp in The High Road. You don't have to make any special efforts, because she will join the team automatically after a short conversation.

Lights Out!

Trophy type: silver - Trophy list of Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden - Basics - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Show Lux that the Zone doesn't forgive.

After you explore the basement, a battle with Lux and his crew will begin. You have to win it, i.e. kill Lux. It will be rewarded with an achievement. The description of the battle can be found, among others, in our world atlas.

Matriarch

Trophy type: silver - Trophy list of Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden - Basics - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Trophy type: silver.

How to unlock: Stop Plutonia's plan.

Comments: High Priestess Plutonia is the final boss of the game and you will meet her in The Sealed Gate location. She has 36 health points and 4 armor points, so use strong weapons and help yourself with frag grenades or Sect Tank's possessions.

My Bad

Trophy type: bronze.

How to unlock: Kill a party member.

Commentary: This is a very simple achievement. Take advantage of the frag grenade, which, depending on the type, deals 4 to 8 points of damage.

Not-so-tactical Nuke

Trophy type: silver - Trophy list of Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden - Basics - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Trophy type: silver.

How to unlock: Destroy the Sentinel.

Commentary: Sentinel, also called Mirmir Z800, is the first machine of this type which you meet in the last part of the game in The Forbidden City. Mirmir Z800 doesn't attack you and can flee if you eliminate the Mimir Z200 bots. To solve this use the EMP grenades or Circuit Breaker skill to stun M800 and then attack him. He has a long health bar (60 points), but you should be able to destroy it before it gets back to normal.

Not a Myth

Trophy type: gold - Trophy list of Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden - Basics - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Trophy type: gold.

How to unlock: Reach Eden.

Comments: This achievement is linked to the progress in the main plot of the game. The entrance to Eden is in the penultimate game location - The Sealed Gate. In order to unlock it, you must first defeat the High Priestess Plutonia (the final boss) and other enemies accompanying her.

Om nom nom!

Trophy type: bronze - Trophy list of Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden - Basics - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Trophy type: bronze.

How to unlock: Use "Corpse Eater", to interrupt an enemy resurrection.

Commentary: Corpse Eater is one of the active abilities that you can unlock and set for Bormin. To use it effectively, wait for a battle in which, for example, a Med-Bot will appear. Stand close to a killed opponent, wait for the bot to appear and use your ability after the bot starts healing. You will recognize it by the green glow and the green pluses (see example in the picture).

Pfft! Too easy!

Trophy type: silver.

How to unlock: Reach Eden in Iron Mutant mode (any difficulty level).

Commentary: Refer to the description of the QA Have Suffered trophy.

QA Have Suffered!

Trophy type: gold - Trophy list of Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden - Basics - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Trophy type: gold.

How to unlock: Reach Eden in Iron Mutant mode on hard difficulty, without losing any party member.

Commentary: This is an extremely difficult achievement. You can choose the Iron Mutant mode when starting a new campaign. It blocks the option of performing manual saves. The game automatically records every turn and the loss of each team member is permanent.

Try to finish the game at least several times on normal difficulty in order to get to know the mechanics of the game as well as possible and to know what dangers await the team in each location and how best to prepare for coping with them. Our world atlas accurately describes all the locations and the mutants in them.

Sent to the Farm

Trophy type: bronze - Trophy list of Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden - Basics - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Trophy type: bronze.

How to unlock: Put 20 Zone Dogs to sleep.

Commentary: Look for every opportunity to fight them. It's worth mentioning that Mother Zone Dog mutant from The Iron Serpent (shown in the picture above) may summon the smaller dogs to help. Use this to get additional kills for the achievement.

Still Too Easy!

Trophy type: gold.

How to unlock: Reach Eden in Iron Mutant mode on hard difficulty.

Commentary: Refer to the description of the QA Have Suffered trophy.

Survivor

Trophy type: bronze - Trophy list of Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden - Basics - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Trophy type: bronze.

How to unlock: Meet Farrow and convince her to join your party.

Commentary: Farrow is a potential party member - you will meet her at the campsite in Metal Fields. You don't have to make any special efforts, because she will join the team automatically after a short conversation.

Take Out the Zone Trash!

Trophy type: bronze.

How to unlock: Kill 40 ghouls.

Commentary: Ghouls are the standard enemy mutants. Just take out all enemies you meet, and you'll get the trophy long before you finish the game.

Tastes Like Chicken

Trophy type: bronze - Trophy list of Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden - Basics - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Trophy type: bronze.

How to unlock: : Use "Corpse Eater" to eat a party member.

Commentary: Corpse Eater is one of the active abilities that you can unlock and set for Bormin. You can take advantage of an opportunity when a party member accidentally dies or deliberately causes the death of a companion, e.g. by placing him in an open or by using grenades. Then select the ability and select the fallen party member.

Tea Leaf

Trophy type: bronze - Trophy list of Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden - Basics - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Trophy type: bronze.

How to unlock: Steal an item from Roboshack.

Commentary: Roboshack is located in the Forbidden City, that is in the demolished city in the last part of the campaign. Go to the first floor and steal the artifact Kommode 64 and scrap. The anti-theft system will activate so you can run away or fight the alarmed robots.

The Power of Flesh

Trophy type: bronze - Trophy list of Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden - Basics - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Trophy type: bronze.

How to unlock: Mind control 10 enemies with "Puppeteer".

Commentary: Mind control is linked to the active ability Puppeteer, which you can unlock and set for Magnus. Not every attempt to possess an opponent will be successful, so it's good to try from the moment Magnus joins the team. It's also a good idea to play on normal difficulty level, so your ability will regenerate automatically after each fight.

Thoughtful Warrior

Trophy type: bronze - Trophy list of Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden - Basics - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Trophy type: bronze.

How to unlock: Free Magnus from the hands of Nova.

Commentary: Magnus is a potential party member - he is imprisoned by mutants in House of Bones. You must get rid of all enemies under Brother Skoog's command in the main camp. This will allow you to free Magnus (go to the disaster site and press the interaction button).

Unfriended

Trophy type: bronze - Trophy list of Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden - Basics - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Trophy type: bronze.

How to unlock: Provoke a party member under the influence of mind control.

Commentary: A party member may be possessed by an opponent with the ability to control the mind. This is e.g. Lux from The Castle of Light. After you "lose" your companion temporarily, use the Joker skill (used by Bromin) to attract his attention.

Unnaturally Successful

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Win a battle by using only mutations.

Comments: For this trophy, choose a weaker group of ghouls or robots, or preferably a single opponent patrolling the area. Use offensive abilities and optional Puppeteer skills - after possessing an enemy, you can use the victim against other enemies. Remember that each ability needs to be renewed, so you need to make the most of it so that it will be enough for you to complete the battle.

Weapon Smith

Trophy type: silver - Trophy list of Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden - Basics - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Trophy type: silver.

How to unlock: Upgrade all weapons to level III.

Commentary: You can upgrade weapons in Delta's Fix Pit when you return to the Ark (the main hub and safe haven in the game). To upgrade weapons you need Weapon Parts - 30 parts to upgrade a weapon to level II and 60 parts to upgrade a weapon to level III. Explore all locations in the game world carefully, as this will allow you to find weapon parts to buy upgrades.

Additional Notes:

  1. Some weapons (e.g. Boomstick rifle) are obtained in several copies. Don't upgrade all of them, because you may not have enough parts. Develop only one weapon of this type.
  2. Don't accidentally dismantle any unique weapon that only exists in the game as a single weapon. You must keep it and upgrade it even if you need it.
  3. Regularly visit the Iridia store on Arc. New weapons may appear in her offer. If you notice a new unique weapon, devote your scrap metal to buy it.

Zone Master

Trophy type: platinum.

How to unlock: Unlock all trophies!

Commentary: The Platinum trophy can be unlocked only in the PS4 version of the game.
