Various currencies are used in MU Legend. They can be used for performing various actions, gaining items, upgrading equipment. In this chapter you will find information about all currencies available in the game.
Zen
Zen is the main currency used in the game - it is the equivalent of gold from majority of other MMORPGs. Zen is used for buying items from merchants or auction house, enchanting items, upgrading wings and pets, crafting - in general, it is used during the whole game.
Zen can be obtained in various ways - by killing monsters (they drop a small number of it), completing quests, and selling items to merchants and in auction house. Once you reach level 55, you will unlock access to Luery's Secret Vault. It can be found in Room od Duty in Ohrdor. Completing this dungeon (it can be done once a day) enables you to gain absurd number of Zen.
Magic gems
Magic gems are a special currency that can be obtained only in Rifts and Magic Gem Mines. Rifts are available since the beginning of the game, Magic Gem Mines are unlocked on level 35 - entrance can be found in Room od Duty in Ohrdor.
Magic Gems are used mostly for enchanting and upgrading items. With them you will also get special items like mounts and valuable crafting materials used for producing mythical items.
Guild contribution points
Gild contribution points are obtained by participating in guild actions and for completing area / timed quests (marked in purple) - each such activity is rewarded with a specific number of contribution points. They can be used for buying new items.
Redzen and Bound Redzen
Red Zen and Bound Redzen are two premium currencies. They are used for speeding up and using some processes (like dungeon and Rifts conquering) or for buying items in Legend Shop. Red Zen can be obtained only by buying it for real money. Bound Redzen is awarded for some activities in the game, staying active or getting achievements.
