In this part of the guide, we list Jenny the herbalist's tasks. She is the first quest-giver in Mr Prepper.

The Herbalist
The first task will begin once you check your mailbox in front of the house and read the letter you find there. Go to level 1-3 of the Forest to find the herbalist in the bushes.
Click on the character's silhouette to start a conversation and move on to the next task. In this game, there are no dialogue options to choose from when talking to NPCs.
Into the Woods
This task is unlocked by talking to Jenny in the forest. Fix the ropeway that leads to the next level of the Forest. To repair the ropeway, you will need the lever which can be found near the herbalist. To access each successive level of the forest, you will need increasing numbers of items:
- Level 2 - the lever,
- Level 3 - lever, metal x15,
- Level 4 - lever, metal x20, plastic x10,
- Level 5 - lever, plastic x20, electronics x10,
- Level "?" - lever, metal x30, electronics x30 (this is a bonus level and its layout is randomly generated each time you enter the location; it's also infinite).
Forest, Mine and Desert levels are randomly generated when you first start the game. Because of this, the layout and the locations of resources and opponents will be slightly different for each player.
The Granny and the Wolf
This task is unlocked when you encounter the herbalist in the forest (you will need to fix the ropeway to level 2 first). She will ask you to dispose of the wolves in the forest. Fix the ropeway using the lever found near the herbalist, then proceed to level 2-3 of the forest. Make sure to craft a baseball bat in the level 1 workbench beforehand.
The fight will begin when you reach the cave visible in the background. During these fights, you will need to dispose of several waves of enemies. You don't have to use blocking in this battle.
After the fight, near the cave, your will find the lever required to reach the railway's next level - don't forget to pick it up.
Behind the cave, you'll find Jenny the herbalist's cottage. After talking with her, you can continue the task and unlock the option to trade (fresh vegetables and seeds) with her. From now on, you will also gain access to the Old Creek mine.
Head inside the old woman's house and collect the free seeds (13 in total, make sure to check the cupboards)) as a reward for the mission.
Mushrooms
This task will begin once you have completed The Granny and the Wolf task. Go to the new location available on the map: the Old Creek mine. First, you will have to complete a task for Bob, who owns the mine and won't let you through otherwise. This is the second main NPC who will give you quests. By talking to him, you will initiate the The Elevator of Mine task.
Make sure to bring 10 units of metal with you to Old Creek, as they are required to fix the elevator. This way, you won't have to backtrack.
You need to find 8 mushrooms. Since the mine has a different layout in each game, you aren't guaranteed to find them right away; however, over time, they will re-spawn in previous locations. You'll find them at levels -1 and -2 of the mine (to gain access to the next level, you need to carefully look through the current mine level to find the Access Card).
The mushrooms are fluorescent, so you'll have no trouble finding them. Once you have found 8 mushrooms, return to Jenny - you can travel directly to her, without having to travel through the forest, by using your world map.
Exotic Fruits
The task will start once you have completed the Mushrooms task for Jenny. Jenny's next task will be to gather 8 guarana fruits. They grow on level 3 of the forest. On this forest level, wolves begin to appear, so have a weapon on you (the basic bat should suffice for now).
The berries regrow on the bushes with time. You will also be able to grow them in greenhouses once you complete this task. When dried or turned into juice, they can be used to restore your energy.
Underground Plantation
The Underground Plantation task will begin as soon as you complete the Exotic Fruits task. After you bring the fruit to Jenny, you will receive your next mission - to plant 4 guarana bushes in your base. You'll get the seeds from the old lady. Plots aren't enough to plant the bushes - you will need a planter.
After planting the bushes, grow 20 guarana fruits and then bring them to Jenny. You can pick the fruit in the forest to make this task easier. Guarana bushes grow slowly, but when they reach full bloom, the berries will regrow every 2 days or so in optimal light. You will collect 4 fruits per bush.
Potted plants need to be constantly illuminated by light bulbs or more efficient greenhouse lamps. The yellow bar at the top shows the illumination level (growth rate), the bar at the bottom - the water level; don't let the plant get too dry, or it might die. The yellow icon in the middle, once filled up, indicates that the bushes are ready to harvest. Bring the fruit to Jenny to receive your next task and 10 guarana seeds.
Tip: don't get rid of your plants. They will be important later in the game, when you will need to harvest (or acquire) 99 guarana seeds.
Air Crash Investigation
The Air Crash Investigation task begins once you complete the Underground Plantation task. During Jenny's next task, you need to reach level 4 of the Forest and examine the crashed plane there. In the meantime, continue to cultivate guarana and keep the berries in the refrigerator, because you will need 99 fruits to complete the next mission. You can't dry them - Jenny wants fresh fruit!
Before you can explore level 4 of the Forest, you will need to unlock Joe from the Junkyard - complete the Bob's Jacket mission and meet Joe at dusk. The trader has the axe that you will need in the forest.
Your goal is located at the very end of the forest: on level 5-10. First, you will need to fix the railway to this level, equip the axe and, optionally, you can bring along medicines and additional weapons such as grenades. Also, make sure to depart in the morning. After the battles, examine the crashed plane. You will find the base access card here, the lever required to reach the final (optional) level of the forest, a few random objects and the Artificial Horizon rocket part.
Be More Exotic
The Be More Exotic task starts after the Air Crash Investigation, but you will only be able to complete it after the Sleepless Base mission. In this task, you need to collect 99 guarana. Use the plantation from before, if you didn't get rid of it, or plant new bushes. Guarana will last many days in the refrigerator (remember that the fruits need to be fresh, not dried), you can also complete this quest faster by picking the berries available at level 3 of the forest. Completing this task is required to progress the storyline.
