In Mortal Kombat 11, there are three main resources that will enable you to unlock treasures hidden on Shang Tsung Island in the Krypt mode. In order to unlock chests and treasures, you need Koins, Hearts and Soul Fragments. Sadly, gathering these resources is very time consuming. However, this process can be sped up. How to quickly gain Koins in Mortal Kombat 11?

Koins are one of three main resources in Mortal Kombat 11. They are used for opening chests available in Krypt mode. In order to open all chests you will require a tremendous number of Koins. How to quickly gain them in Mortal Kombat 11? Luckily, there are a few ways.

Story and Tutorial

Even if you're an experienced Mortal Kombat player, you should complete the tutorial. The main reason for doing it is the fact that completion of each lesson is awarded with 1.000 Koins. After completing all chapters you will gather 42.000 coins.

Krypt

Usually, you spend your hard earned resources in Krypy. However, there are a few places in which you can gain plenty of Koins for free! Most of all, try not to miss the first two chests that you will find in the entrance to the island. After opening them you will gather 100.000 Koins!

Use Shao Kahn's hammer to hit the Gong in the Courtyard and in the Warrior's Shrine and you will gain additional 25.000 Koins for each of them! This means a total of 50.000 free Koins.

Opening the door with special items, like the Door of Balance in the Courtyard, is awarded with 5.000 Koins. Opening each gate that blocks access to new areas of the Krypt is awarded with 1.000 Koins.

Towers

While you can gain additional Koins by fighting Online (when you lose you gain only 100 Koins, when you win you gain from 300 to 500 Koins), it isn't the best and most efficient way of farming Koins in Mortal Kombat 11. Klassic Towers award the player with at least 1.000 Koins for completing each of them. The reward depends on the number of enemies and on the difficulty. What's more, gathering a specific number of points is awarded with bonus rewards.

Daily challenges

Another way of gathering Koins quickly in Mortal Kombat 11 is completing daily challenges. They aren't very requiring and usually they are limited to playing as a specific character or performing specific number of moves. Completing a daily challenge is awarded with 10.000 Koins.
