Stronger enemies, new beasts, upgraded items - there'll be a lot on your plate from now on!

1. It can be assumed that the End Game begins the moment you "defeat" Zorah Magdaros. As everybody is celebrating your success and begin the preparations to return, a new danger will suddenly appear on the island.

From now on, though, when you open the map you can choose whether you want to embark on a low rank expedition (where things remains as they were), or a high rank expedition. In the latter case, each monster will receive a significant upgrade; you'll be able to find new resource deposits and raw materials. For example, if you defeat an upgraded beast, you'll be able to get better materials to forge the new armors at the smithy.
8. Completely new assigned and optional quests, as well as investigations will become available to you. You'll be able to hunt down new creatures e.g. Pink Rathian, Bazelgeuse or Dodogama, and many other beasts.
