This page of the guide to Monster Hunter Rise explains how to find a rare creature - the Quetzalcobra. We present a step-by-step guide how to get to the shelter of the animal on the Flooded Forest and what to do to get the entry about it in the Hunter's notes about endemic life.
The Quetzalcobra appears only in the daytime on the territory of the Flooded Forest. Like any rare creature, it must be photographed to appear in the Hunter's notes.
In order to have as much time as possible to find a rare creature, it's best to go on an expedition tour to the chosen hunting area. Expeditions allow you to choose the time of day and have no time limits.
Before you go, make sure that you have eaten a meal that increases your level of endurance, as reaching the Quetzalcobra requires running along the walls and climbing to higher areas of the location.
Once you find the Quetzalcobra, try to select a greeting from the action bar and see what happens. Good luck!
The Quetzalcobra is located in a secret room at the back of the pyramid. If the creature is absent upon arrival, wait up to 20 minutes for it to appear. If after this time the animal is still absent, complete the task and start the expedition again.
Head to area 2 and climb the pyramid stairs. Then, use the great wirebug or continue your journey by stairs.
When you reach the top, turn right and follow the wall. Use your Wirebugs to jump over the hole and then go around the pyramid.
After turning left, look down, there is the entrance to the secret room. Use Wirebugs to run along the wall and get into the room.
Quetzalkobra should crawl out from under the stones and sit on the altar.
