This guide page for Monster Hunter Rise explains how to find a rare creature - the Snow-faced Fox. We describe step by step how to get to the animal's hiding place in the temple ruins and what to do to make an entry about it appear in the Hunter's notes about the endemic life.
The Snow-faced Fox appears only at night in the temple ruins. Like any rare creature, it must be photographed to appear in the Hunter's notes.
In order to have as much time as possible to find a rare creature, it's best to go on an expedition tour to the chosen hunting area. Expeditions allow you to choose the time of day and have no time limits.
Before you go, make sure that you have eaten a meal that increases your level of endurance, as reaching the fox requires running along the walls and climbing to higher areas of the location.
When you find the Fox, try to select a greeting from the action bar and see what happens. Good luck!
The Snow-faced Fox can be found in area No. 5, on the roof of the gate. If the creature is absent upon arrival, wait up to 20 minutes for it to appear. If after this time the animal is still absent, complete the task and start the expedition again.
Head to area 3 and climb to the top of the mountain along the vines, located near the small chapel. Then go left.
When you reach the fork, turn right and follow the road with the lanterns.
Then turn left and follow the rock and the lanterns until you reach the end of the road. Climb the vines to the top of area 5.
Snow-faced Fox will sit on the roof of the gate. Use the Wirebugs or run up the wall to get closer to the creature and take a picture.
