General tips

Combat in the game is purely arcade, so you don't have to plan every move carefully. The game features weapons for melee (sword) and ranged (bow) combat. The choice of weapon type affects how the game is played.

If you want to fight at close range, you will have to perform a lot of dodges. In addition, if you want to attack an enemy fighting at a distance, you can receive additional damage. Therefore, it is important to be on the move at all times.

By contrast, if you choose a ranged weapon, you can attack your opponents from a safe distance. This gives you a big advantage against opponents who don't have ranged weapons. The problem, however, is that ammunition is limited.

Power-ups

As you go through the stages, you will encounter power-ups strengthening your character. They are hidden in chests encountered during missions. In addition, they can be dropped by defeated opponents.

There are four types of power-ups and they affect your character in different ways:

1. food (e.g. Apple) - regenerates the character's health for a limited period of time. The icon on the left side of the screen informs you how long this state will last;
2. potions - they also work for a certain amount of time. They give bonuses to one of the character's statistics (e.g. speed). When you approach an object of this type, you will learn how it affects the character;
3. TNT - this object can be picked up and thrown at opponents. This causes an explosion that injures nearby opponents;
4. arrows - provide additional ammunition for the bow.

Weapons

In the game you will find:

3. Dual wielded blades
4. Bows
5. Crossbows
6. Hammers
7. Pickaxes
8. Spears
9. Gloves
10. Maces
11. Scythes
12. Axes

Each type of arms has many various weapons. It's worth checking out every type of weapon to find out what's best to kill local monsters.

Artifacts

Artifacts are additional abilities in Minecraft Dungeons that can be collected during gameplay. These are active skills that affect your character's strength, often providing additional buffs and enhancements.

Improvements & enhancements

Enhancements are unique abilities that you can add to your weapons and armor. Improvements can regenerate your health, increase your weapon's damage or give you a new, interesting skill.
