Shadow of War: Traitor's Gate - Walkthrough Middle-earth: Shadow of War Guide

Quests: Shelob

Main objective: Defeat a Warchief that plots with a traitor of Gondor.

Destroy spider nests and the creatures will help you in fights.

1. This mission is rather difficult which means that you should level up Talion to, about, level 15. Go to Shelob and you will receive another vision. This time, you learn that there is a traitor in the army of Gondor.
2. Follow Gollum. You can come across spiders - they are your allies and they attack enemies by jumping on them. There are many occasions in which you can summon them - this is done by destroying their nests. Here, they can help you in defeating a group of orcs ahead.

Try to stick to the west part of the fortress.

1. Keep running until you reach an orc fortress. You must now travel alone - Gollum won't be able to keep up with your speed. Defeat a few orcs near the walls and climb up. Your task is to follow a messenger while being undetected.
2. You should stick to the west part of the fortress and climb on its buildings. Attack the Archers and try to stay close to your target. If you are noticed by any of the orcs, that are on the rooftops, you can simply kill them with your bow.

You can start the fight by using a stealth attack.

1. Finally, you reach a Warchief. He is enraged because the messenger brought you to him. The Warchief is at level 17 and has legendary rank which means that he will be a tough opponent.
2. He is vulnerable to stealth attacks - you can try to attack him by jumping down from ledges. However, when the fight starts, you will be swarmed with regular orcs which makes this fight much more difficult. Try to lure your enemies near explosive barrels and kill the Caragors raiders first.

Use the barrels and dominate Caragors to make this fight easier.

1. You can also use the beasts as your mount (provided that you have the right ability) because they are very useful in this fight. You should also try to use your bow and shoot the Warchief in the head.
2. His death marks the end of the mission and you get a legendary item (more about them can be found in the dedicated chapter).
