Shadow of War: Eyes of Sauron / Shadows of the Past - Walkthrough Middle-earth: Shadow of War Guide

Main objectives:

- Reach Haedir towers and release them from Sauron's control.

- Participate in Celebrimbor's vision.

Capture the towers and discover secrets that surround you.

1. The task is very simple - you must run straight ahead and you will reach the top of a Haedir tower. There, you can purify it and "use" the tower to find interesting places (missions, artifacts etc.) in the area nearby. You must move the circle on those places and press the right button. After that, the location will appear on your map.
2. Also, Haedir towers serve as fast travel points - you can teleport here when you are outside of a battle.
3. In addition to that you can use these towers to make the time to pass in the game's world. Thanks to that, e.g. new captains can appear in Sauron's army or you can allow your captains to complete missions that you gave to them.

The mission's objective is to learn how to use Elven Rage.

1. Find burial mounds and go there. This starts Shadows of the Past mission. This one is an introduction to a special type of missions that recreate Celebrimbor's heroic acts from the past.
2. Here, you can participate in a story that shows how Celebrimbor used his ring to destroy orcs with ease. Your task is to fill up the Rage bar which can be done by killing orcs.
3. Notice that this mission has additional objectives - this is typical for Celebrimbor's missions where each quest allows you to get Bronze, Silver or Gold. This depends on the amount of completed side objectives.
4. Here, your objective is to charge the Rage bar in 1:36 and defeat 10 enemies by using Elven Rage. This is easy to do, just focus on counters and performing Ground Executions. When your bar is full, you can activate the Rage and quickly kill the enemies by using strengthened attacks and executions. After that, the mission ends.
