Shadow of War: Prologue - Walkthrough Middle-earth: Shadow of War Guide

Main objective: Find Celebrimbor.

The first mission is very simple - it serves as a tutorial that teaches you the basic controls.

1. You are greeted with a cut-scene that summarizes the current events and presents you the story from the first game. Shortly after that you can control Talion who is in a peculiar cave with a few orcs roaming the area.
2. As always, when it comes to the first levels, you should spend a moment and learn the controls. An orc stands in front of you - enter stealth mode and perform a stealth kill. These attacks won't alarm other orcs and you can use them to kill enemies with one hit.
3. Look at your minimap and head to the gold marker. Keep jumping on the ledges, practice stealth and, e.g. perform a few attacks from above. However, this is not required and you can simply jump down to a group of orcs that guard a narrow corridor.

Face the orcs and learn the basics of combat.

1. Go down to the enemies and start fighting. This easy fight should serve as a practice for combat, dodges and counters. The enemies are extremally easy to defeat so you won't have any troubles.
2. After that you must go to the marker and you will start a long cut-scene. Celebrimbor returns to you which completes this short stage that served as a prologue.
