Mission 2: Bon Voyage to Cambodia - p. 2 MoW: Vietnam Guide

New objective: Mine the fuel, weaponry and supply depots.

Place all your men in [4]. You'll perform the next part of the mission using only the one armed with a silenced rifle (John Merrill). Hide him in the bushes in [5] and wait until the first enemy soldier stands next to yours. Kill the opponent and move on to the bushes in [6], take out the next enemy soldier and then another one, who will also come here. In this and the following situations, it is often better to speed up the game in order to shorten the time needed for the next enemies to come. Be sure to kill them before they discover the bodies of their comrades. If they do, they will raise the alarm, and then your mission will become virtually impossible to complete.

You must also watch out for the mines deployed in various places in this area, so after each successful assassination save your game just in case. Crawl to [7] and lay down there. Wait until one of the guards patrolling the area near the lake stops at [8] and kill him (aim at the head). Wait patiently for the next, who will stop in [9] and try to shoot a flare to raise the alarm. Kill him before he kills you. Now, you face a fairly simple but time-consuming task - you have to wait with patience for the next six guards who will come to this place. Speed up and slow down the game, and kill anyone who comes to [8] or [9]. This is an easy way to knock out most enemies patrolling this place.

Order the rest of your men to swim through the lake (at least, there are no mines there) to the other side. Select Bill Kirby and crawl near the fence surrounding the supply depot of [10]. Wait for the right moment (when the guard who's on patrol around the building goes away) and crawl behind a large crate (look at the picture below). Choose the silenced pistol as the main weapon and wait patiently until the abovementioned guard approaches. Shoot him once or twice and when he dies, put the C-4 explosive charge in one of the crates. The first of the three objects has been mined, so we can move on.

Select John Merrill again and crawl to [11]. Hide your soldier in the bushes and wait for the guard who will come here. Instead of a silenced pistol you can use a knife here to be hundred percent sure that no one can hear you (remember, unless you kill an enemy with one shot, he will yell and lure his mates, so the knife is more reliable). There is another enemy soldier here, sleeping. Kill him with a knife and remember to pick it up afterwards.

Find the one that is patrolling the courtyard and around fuel tanks. Once he comes out from between the tanks in [12], crawl there and wait for him. When he comes back and stops for a moment - kill him. Another opponent is sleeping here, so you should get rid of him as well. In addition to two large fuel tanks there is a barrel on the right - order Bill Kirby to put C-4 explosive charge in it, so that the second of the objects will be mined.

Before you set off to mine the third, you will need to eliminate two enemies patrolling the forest behind the weapon depot. Crawl to [13] and hide in the bushes. Two soldiers will be walking this path, fortunately not at the same time. Kill the first, when he bypasses you and the second before he reaches you. This way, the second won't notice the body of the first one.
