On the following page of our Medievil game guide is a walkthrough of Zarok's Lair level. It's time to finish the job and face the main antagonist-Zarok. But he is well prepared for your coming.
Things to find
- Silver Shield
Restore health, take the shield and buy as many arrows as you can. The first phase of combat is to treat allies who are fighting their enemies - with the help of your own health. To do this, keep track of what color your allies are - the greens are completely healthy and the reds will soon die. Those allies that survive will change into health bottles.
If you spend a lot of your health healing allies (more than 6 bottles), you will get the "Almost A Hero" trophy.
The second stage is the battle with Lord Kardok. Kill the guards, wait for the rider to stand in the middle of the arena and start calling new ones. Fire at him with your bow. He will from time to time shoot you with blue balls and make waves of fire that you have to jump over. Once you kill the guards, the enemy will stop to summon more troops, allowing you to attack Kardok. Repeat the process until you empty the entire health bar of the champion.
For taking out this foe you will receive the "Not So Scary Now, Eh?" and "Morten Would Be Proud" trophies.
Now is the time for the last phase - Zarok. He is surrounded by a blue shield - attack him with your bow once the shield is down. Avoid his attacks - you can use your charge attack to help yourself with the task. He is a lot easier to defeat than Kardok or any other boss in the game.
Once you take him out, you will receive the "Quest Complete-est" trophy.
And here, at last, is the end of Medievil, but the evil has not been completely put to sleep. Events continue in MediEvil 2, which may also be remade in the future. Now you can go back to the map and collect the new collectibles added by the Remake - Lost souls - which we have mentioned in The Entrance Hall chapter.
