Knock-out Tiger Tank #2 - part 1 | Operation Market Garden MoH: Airborne Guide

Last update: 11 May 2016

I guess that the title of this objective may surprise you a little bit, because eliminating an enemy tank is going to be the least of your problems. The final phase of this mission is going to be VERY difficult. You will have to be extremely careful, so you won't have to go back to the checkpoint area and repeat everything from the start. The most important thing here is that you avoid being hit by rockets. There are going to be A LOT of enemy soldiers with rocket launchers. A single rocket (in most cases) is more than enough to kill your character, so don't even think about staying the open for too long. You can use other rocket launcher to kill these guys, however I prefer sniper rifles, especially since the rocket launcher is better at aiming at larger targets. Enemy soldiers will also be well hidden, so you must be very thorough while trying to get to the tank. They'll also change their initial positions from time to time. Sadly, you won't be able to observe their movements on your compass.

Reaching your target - Knock-out Tiger Tank #2 - part 1 - Operation Market Garden - Medal of Honor: Airborne - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Reaching your target:

You will start the game in a very uncomfortable spot. You will be fully exposed here, so you can't stay here forever. Otherwise you would have to deal with a lot of enemies and you would probably die as a result of one of the RPG attacks. There's a heavy machine gun post to your right, however I'd strongly recommend avoiding it, because it won't do you any good to use it. Wait for a situation here to calm down a little and start RUNNING forward. Check the screen, because that's where you'll have to hide. It's going to be a destroyed allied here. You'll be safe here, even if one of the missiles hits the tank. Nevertheless, check your compass frequently, so no one manages to surprise you.

You should still be standing behind the tank - Knock-out Tiger Tank #2 - part 1 - Operation Market Garden - Medal of Honor: Airborne - Game Guide and Walkthrough

You should still be standing behind the tank. Start off by leaning out. A small group should appear to your right. Enemy soldiers will be coming towards you, so you must act quickly. Thankfully, you will be able to locate them with your compass and they won't be carrying any rocket launchers. Nevertheless, it would be wise to surprise them.

Now you should try and secure left side of the bridge - Knock-out Tiger Tank #2 - part 1 - Operation Market Garden - Medal of Honor: Airborne - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Now you should try and secure left side of the bridge. Once again, you should be standing behind a destroyed tank. You will probably see a small bunker there. Try neutralizing it right away. One of the enemy soldiers will be using a heavy machine gun there and he needs to die. Remember that you should be aiming at his head. Lean out only for a second or two, so he doesn't see you. Also, check if no one else tries to take his place.

Try moving closer to a previously secured bunker - Knock-out Tiger Tank #2 - part 1 - Operation Market Garden - Medal of Honor: Airborne - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Try moving closer to a previously secured bunker. This is a very important thing, because you won't be able to kill any RPG soldiers from here. Obviously you should choose the left side of the bridge, so you'll be protected by the bunker while trying to get closer to the bridge. You won't have to kill anyone here, however check your compass from time to time, just to be sure.

Before you decide to proceed any further, you should take a few seconds to explore the surrounding area - Knock-out Tiger Tank #2 - part 1 - Operation Market Garden - Medal of Honor: Airborne - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Before you decide to proceed any further, you should take a few seconds to explore the surrounding area. There are a lot of medkits inside the bunker, however I'm sure that you won't need them right away. It's better to leave them for later, especially if one of the missiles would explode near your character. You will also find a rocket launcher here. You can pick it up or remain with your main weapon - sniper rifle. Either way, you will be taking part in very difficult fights from now on.

Try hiding behind larger objects - Knock-out Tiger Tank #2 - part 1 - Operation Market Garden - Medal of Honor: Airborne - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Try hiding behind larger objects. You will have to lean out in order to kill each RPG soldier. Remember that you can't stay in the open, because that would be equal to an instant and painful death. Try eliminating your foes from a very large distance. Start off by checking a small balcony which should be located to your left. Also, you will have to scan the vehicles for more opponents.

Once you've killed all visible soldiers, try moving closer to this side of the bridge - Knock-out Tiger Tank #2 - part 1 - Operation Market Garden - Medal of Honor: Airborne - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Once you've killed all visible soldiers, try moving closer to this side of the bridge. Check the screen, because that's where you will have to hide. Start LEANING out. This is very important. You can't move to the right too much and you will be protected here by the bridge supports, so you won't have to worry about any missiles hitting your character. Remember that you won't have to risk your life each time you try to kill someone. Also, check the left side of the bridge, because one of the enemy soldiers may be hiding there or he'll even try to advance toward your position.
