WARNING - The quest described below is Vetra's Loyalty Mission. This means that it is the biggest and the most complex quest connected with this character. Completing it allows you to get the access to Vetra's highest, sixth, level abilities.
How to unlock: Receive an e-mail from Vetra [Tempest].
Here you can find the walkthrough for Vetra Nyx: Means and Ends quest. This is one of the side quests in Mass Effect: Andromeda game that belongs to the category called "Allies and relationships". The quest is given by Vetra (and her sister, Sid). Your goal is to find the kidnapped colonists that are kept inside a mine on planet H-047c.

Unlocking the quest
This quest should be automatically added to your journal when you return on Kadara for the first time (the planet on which you must complete the steps for Hunting the Archon main quest). You should receive an information about the e-mail from Vetra. You learn that Sid wants to contact with you as quick as possible. Take Vetra with you and listen to Sid. She tells you about kidnaped colonists and that they are probably kept inside a mine on H-047c.
Go to H-047c in Remav system
Fly to Remav system which is located in the north-east part of Heleus Cluster. When you get there select the destroyed planet H-074c that is now a debris field. Find the landing spot and confirm that you want to leave the Tempest.
Find the abandoned mine
Go to the abandoned mine which is in the west part of the map. Your target destination is a rather big construction surrounded by force field. You must park Nomad next to the gate. After that the team is moved to the inside of the location surrounded by the force field (leaving Nomad whenever you want while you are on H-074c is forbidden).
Get to the mine's entrance and confirm that you want to start the mission. Warning - Because of the obvious reasons during this mission you must have Vetra Nyx as one of your party members. When you get inside the mine you must watch the cut-scene. After that the team is trapped.
Warning - During this quest you should look for optional containers, datapads and objects that you can scan. This allows you to get new items, information and Research Data Points.
Find a way out of Meriweather prison
If you want, you can speak with Galloway and Vetra but this step is optional. Start using your scanner. Scan the closed door, listen to what SAM says and scan the generator. Go on the next floor and scan the power conduits. Most of them are damaged but you will find conduits that can be plugged into the generator. Interact with said conduits, go back to the generator and hold the interaction button to connect them.
Follow the colonists to the warehouse
Use the newly unlocked entrance and head to the warehouse nearby. A time limit appears (40 seconds) but the only thing that you must do is to get inside the warehouse. The colonists can get there by themselves, they don't require your help.
Check out the cameras' footage
Use the console near the door and hack one of the cameras. Don't do anything, just watch the moment when the guard arrives and listen to the mysterious assistant's commentary. The assistant suggests to perform a surprise attack. After opening the doors attack the guards and eliminate them all.
After the battle go back to Galloway. You learn that the mysterious assistant is Sid (you can praise or reprimand her but this has no impact on the quest).
Go to the mess hall
Follow the linear path to the mess hall. When you get closer to the room you can hack a new camera. This time you can choose what Sid can do for you - you can blow up the generator (you must scan it first) which eliminates a few enemies or break into the back door of the warehouse. The second option is better because in the room you can find a few containers with valuable items. Regardless of your choice you must open the door to the mess hall and eliminate a new group of bandits.
Go to the menagerie
In the menagerie the process is the same. When you reach the door to the new area you can interact with the console and look through the camera to plan your next steps. Here, you can choose between opening the cage with Adhi beasts (they will attack everyone) or hack the turrets that you can turn off or reprogram. The best choice is the last one because the turrets deal a lot of damage so you should have them on your side. When the battle starts you should take into account that a Fiend will be freed from its cage (you can't do that by using Sid's help). Be prepared to quickly eliminate this monster before it gets closer to the team.
Go to the workshop
Head to the workshop and when you get near the door you can, for the last time, use the camera. By scanning the area you can ask Sid to fulfill one of the three requests - spread the gas in the room, blow up the crane or deactivate the Hydra. The third option is a good idea, especially if you play on harder difficulty because the Hydra could be a danger to your team. Regardless of your choice you must then defeat the bandits in the workshop.
After the fights you can try to leave the workshop but you learn that Sid has been tracked and she is now in danger. Rescuing her becomes your new priority goal.
Deal with security and guards
Right after you enter the new area you must immediately hide behind cover because your team will be under heavy fire. You are attacked by bandits and enemy turrets. Stay behind covers and eliminate those enemies that will get closer to you. When the area is cleared you can try to sprint through the left part of the area and get to the control interface under the left turret, presented in the picture above. By sabotaging the console you turn off the turrets.
Go to Sid
When you get to the new location you must watch the cut-scene during which you meet with Merriweather and she is holding Sid hostage. Start the conversation by asking about her demands. Right after Merriweather orders the team to drop their weapons the Narrative Action icon will appear (the picture above). Using this action allows you to surprise Merriweather and her mercenaries but even if you fail to use it, Sid's life won't be in danger.
You must fight the last battle with the mercenaries. A good news is that Merriweather is not treated as an elite enemy and can be easily defeated just like her bandits.
Speak with Sid
After the battle you can speak with Sid. You can congratulate her again or reprimand her, the decision has no impact on how the quest ends. Soon, the mission is over and you can leave the mine.
Rewards for finishing the quest: XP, access to Vetra's abilities from the sixth level, Helping Hand trophy unlocked.
