In case of Mass Effect 3 Shepard does not have a complete exclusivity when it comes to romancing other beings inhabiting the Mass Effect universe, which means that you may also witness relationships between other characters throughout the game. On this page of the Mass Effect 3 game guide you will find information about the two most important relationships of other characters.
Jeff and EDI - romance description
By far the most compelling romance in the game is the one between Jeff and EDI. The climax of their relationship takes place after EDI takes control of the body that belonged to Dr. Eve who was shot during the Mars mission. We highly recommend visiting the pilot's bridge to get the opinions of both parties involved in the "transformation".
It is good to return to these characters on a regular basis, preferably by attempting to talk to them after each completed main mission. You can also meet Jeff and EDI during your stay at The Citadel (screenshot above) and this is a great opportunity to talk to them again. In particular, pay attention to the meeting with EDI, advising her how she should recognize and react to romantic gestures that are being shown to her.
You can meet Jeff and EDI again during a visit to the Purgatory Bar just after repelling the attack of Cerberus' forces on the Citadel. In this case, it is much more important to talk to the pilot of Normandy, because you have to support the idea of their relationship, thereby encouraging Jeff to take over the initiative. Interestingly, if you're playing a woman, you can make a funny comment during a conversation with Jeff about his lack of interest in Shepard (as a female), but it won't affect your relations in any way.
If you managed to bring EDI and Jeff closer together, then you can count on more scenes with these characters during repeated visits to the Purgatory Bar (screenshot above) and during conversations on the pilot's bridge of Normandy. Jeff and Edi can also appear in the final video of the game (unless you chose the ending involving the destruction of synthetic life in the Galaxy).
Tali and Garrus - romance description
Relationship between Tali in Garrus may seem much less obvious. It is possible only if you haven't had an affair with any of these two characters.
Just before you set off to your last mission on Earth, visit the artillery headquarters in Normandy, and you should catch both of these characters (screen above). It's worth talking to Tali and Garrus about their relationship, of course.
