Marvel's Spider-Man: Trophies list Spider-Man Guide and Walkthrough

The following page of our guide for the PS4 version of Marvel's Spider-Man describes all available achievements along with a commentary on how to unlock them.
The game contains:
- 38 bronze trophies to collect;
- 10 silver trophies;
- 2 gold trophies;
- And 1 platinum trophy.
Given all pros and cons, the difficulty level of collecting the platinum trophy is not particularly high in this game. Most of the achievements are related to maxing out most of side activities, which will take some time, but once you're done with the main storyline, complete a good chunk of side missions and a bunch of side activities, you'll be just one step away from platinum.

Ace the Base
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Complete all objectives in a base.
Commentary: You will encounter various enemy bases in the game - Sable Outposts, Fisk Hideouts, Prisoner Camps and Demon Warehouses. Aside from the usual objective of wiping out any opposition, they will display additional tasks, requiring you to, for example, perform a certain number of certain combos.
A Bit of a Fix-Upper
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Complete all optional projects in the lab.
Commentary: Octavius Industries is located in Chinatown - you can visit this facility between other activities to test various materials and perform various experiments. As you progress, you will unlock subsequent new projects. Once you have all of them completed, you'll get the achievement.
Cat's Out of the Bag
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Find a Black Cat collectible.
Commentary: Collectibles will be unlocked with story mode progress.
Spider-Man About Town
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Greet 10 citizens.
Commentary: Once you get down to the streets, you'll be able to interact with some of New York's many citizens.
Lost and Found
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Collect 5 backpacks.
Commentary: You'll need to find 5 of Peter's backpacks, they are marked on the map.
Arachnophobia
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Perform 75 stealth takedowns.
Commentary: Before an attack Spider-Man will often be hidden in the shadows, from which he can perform a stealth takedown. A good place to work towards this achievement are Taskmaster's challenges.
Snappy Dresser
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Wear 5 new Spider-Suits.
Commentary: Suits can be unlocked using tokens, which in turn can be acquired for completing side activities.
Sticky and Tricky
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Chain 4 unique tricks before landing
Commentary: You'll need to unlock the "Air Tricks" skill and perform them when swinging on the web.
Born to Ride
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Ride the Subway 5 times.
Commentary: It's quick-travel time.
Sightseeing
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Photograph all Landmarks on the map.
Commentary: Landmarks have their own icons on the map, you simply need to reach them and take a picture.
Hero for Higher
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Sit on top of the Avengers Tower.
Commentary: The said building can be found in Upper East Side. Open the map and find a landmark icon, then climb to the top.
With Great Power...
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Visit Uncle Ben's grave.
Commentary: You'll need to reach the graveyard in the Harlem, in the upper corner of the map. Head for the spot shown in the screenshot above, and approach the grave. Peter will have a little "chat" with his Uncle, and you'll get the trophy.
Overdrive
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Complete 10 vehicle takedowns.
Commentary: You will encounter some car chases during story missions and stopping criminal activities. Your task is to get on the roof of the vehicle, incapacitate the criminals inside it, and stop the vehicle during a QTE sequence.
Spider-Sensible
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Perfect Dodge 10 attacks.
Commentary: You'll need to unlock the "Perfect Dodge" skill to get this trophy.
The Scientific Method
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Craft Your first Upgrade.
Commentary: You can upgrade your gadgets and add new upgrades to your suits for a certain amount of tokens.
Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Complete all side missions.
Commentary: Side missions will become available as the story progresses. They are marked on the map with a blue icon.
Hug it Out
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Knock together 10 pairs of enemies with Trip Mines
Commentary: Having crafter a "trip mine" gadget, aim it at an enemy and make him collide with another opponent.
Pigeon Hunter
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Catch all of Howard's pigeons.
Commentary: There are 12 pigeons scattered across the map. Your job is to track them down and catch them using the L1+R1 combination.
And Stay Down
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Complete a level 1 Combat Benchmark
Commentary: Complete a relevant Taskmaster's challenge.
King of Swing
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Complete a level 1 Traversal Benchmark
Commentary: Benchmarks can be browsed in the benchmark tab in the menu.
Wing it
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Traverse across the city rooftops.
Commentary: The trophy will be unlocked automatically as you move across the city.
Shock and Awe
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Defeat Shocker.
Commentary: You'll face him in the "Financial Shock" mission.
Tombstone Takedown
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Defeat Tombstone.
Commentary: You'll face him during the "Tombstone: Let's Get Ready to..." mission.
Sting and Smash
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Defeat Scorpion and Rhino.
Commentary: You'll face them during the "Heavy Hitter" mission.
Grounded
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Defeat Electro and Vulture.
Commentary: You'll face them during the "Picking Up the Trail" mission.
Staying Positive
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Defeat Li.
Commentary: You'll face him during the "Heart of the Matter" mission.
Knocking Down Kingpin
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Defeat Fisk.
Commentary: You'll face him early in the game, during "The Main Event" mission.
Science FTW!
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Craft 15 Upgrades.
Commentary: You can upgrade your suit or gadgets.
Demons Emerge
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Complete Act 1.
Commentary: Complete a certain number of story missions.
The Six Assemble

How to unlock it: Complete Act 2.

Challenge Finder
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Complete every Taskmaster Challenge in the city once
Commentary: You'll have to face several types of challenges, including such things as fighting thugs, catching drones, disarming bombs, and performing stealth takedowns. You're not required to achieve silver or gold in those challenges - you just have to complete them, whatever your result may be.
Spy Hunter
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Get Spectacular or better in a Taskmaster Drone Challenge
Commentary: Complete the drone challenge with silver or better.
Ninja
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Get Spectacular or better in a Taskmaster Stealth Challenge
Commentary: Try to locate isolated targets and take them out in individually. The "Silent Step" upgrade may become in handy in this challenge, as it increases the time need by enemies to detect you when in stealth.
Fists of Fury
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Get Spectacular or better in a Taskmaster Combat Challenge
Commentary: Fight so that you achieve a high combo count without getting hit yourself. Consider buying the "Bio Mesh" upgrade, which will enable you to take some damage without resetting the combo counter.
Short Fuse
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: Get Spectacular or better in a Taskmaster Bomb Challenge
Commentary: Focus on finding yourself above the bomb and landing on it at the right moment. The remaining time is not as important as, for example, the number of shots you take at the device after you toss it in the air.
Amazing Coverage
Trophy type: Bronze
How to unlock it: All Surveillance Towers activated
Commentary: Try to unlock this achievement as quickly as possible - it will show you the entire map and reveal many side activities.
Schooled
Trophy type: Silver
How to unlock it: Complete all of the Corrupted Student missions
Commentary: You'll need to complete the following side missions: College Buddies, Tick-Tock, Over his Head, A Matter of Debate, and Home Team Advantage. The missions will require you to find a designated location by using photos. A detailed walkthrough can be found on the relevant pages of our guide.
A Suit For All Seasons
Trophy type: Silver
How to unlock it: Purchase all suits.
Commentary: This might take some time. You'll need to craft all suits available in the game, which is not an easy task. Many of the require large amounts of various tokens - first focus on maxing out other things and side activities. Buy suits as you can afford them, and focus on acquiring currently needed tokens.
Neighborhood Watch
Trophy type: Silver
How to unlock it: Complete all Faction Crimes in a district
Commentary: By pressing the left stick, you can perform a scan of the surrounding area - this action will reveal nearby crimes being committed. Take care of it, wait a bit, and scan the area once more. Crimes are easy to complete, but the sheer amount of them may become a problem. It's best to treat them as a daily activity, like Spidey would, taking care of them between other, bigger matters.
Back in the Slammer
Trophy type: Silver
How to unlock it: Take down each Prisoner Camp
Commentary: Camps will appear in Act 3. The operate identically as all other bases in the game - focus on eliminating enemies. Try to send as many of the bad guys as you can flying, which will significantly speed up the process of clearing a base.
Mercenary Tactics
Trophy type: Silver
How to unlock it: Take down each Sable Outpost
Commentary: Same as Camps, Outpost will appear in Act 3. They are heavily-guarded, so prepare for a tough battle.
All the King's Men
Trophy type: Silver
How to unlock it: Take down each Fisk Hideout.
Commentary: The easiest group to complete among all the enemy bases. Fisk Hideouts are relatively easy to take down because they lack significant amounts of heavy weapons.
Inner Sanctuary
Trophy type: Silver
How to unlock it: Take down each Demon Warehouse.
Commentary: Demon bases host many special opponents, such as Brutes or enemies armed with whips. Gadgets and combat-focused suit upgrades will help you in clearing these bases.
Cat Prints
Trophy type: Silver
How to unlock it: Track down Black Cat.
Commentary: You'll need to solve all of Black Cat's riddles and complete the "Cat's Cradle" mission.
Backpacker
Trophy type: Silver
How to unlock it: Collect all Backpacks.
Commentary: There's a certain amount of backpacks to be found in each district - they are marked on the map. Backpacks can be picked up during various missions, which certainly helps in getting them all.
Masters of Masters
Trophy type: Silver
How to unlock it: Defeat Taskmaster.
Commentary: Having completed all of Taskmaster's challenges, he will catch and attack you. You'll need to win this battle. The enemy will copy Spider-Man's moves - focus on perfect dodging and throwing objects at him. No point in attacking him in melee, as it won't have any effect.
I Heart Manhattan
Trophy type: Gold
How to unlock it: Complete all districts in 100%.
Commentary: This one will be a lot of work; luckily the game show you your progress in each district so you know what to focus on. The biggest time consumer in the bunch are definitely crimes and enemy hideouts - try to get them out of the way first.
Superior Spider-Man
Trophy type: Gold
How to unlock it: Unlock all skills.
Commentary: To be able to buy all the skills, you'll have to be level 50.
Be Greater
Trophy type: Platinum
How to unlock it: Collect all trophies.
Commentary: As usual, you'll need to collect all the other trophies in the game. It's not that difficult, though - once you complete all the districts in 100%, you'll be just an inch away from platinum. Compared to other modern games, getting platinum n Marvel's Spider-Man is quite easy.
