Chapter 15 - Per Aspera Ad Astra - p. 2 Mafia II Guide

Once you're inside you should locate yet another Playboy magazine #1. Be careful, because you may be attacked by one of the gangsters in the meantime #2. He'll be using a good weapon, so he has to die quickly.

SLOWLY start moving towards a lower floor #1. You'll soon see enemy units and you should start attacking them. You can't stay on the stairs, because you would be an easy target. Head down after defeating a few gangsters, take cover near the entrance to the next area #2 and deal with the rest. You'll be attacking large groups here, so throwing grenades would be a good idea.

Keep pushing towards your current destination, eliminating gangsters along the way. Expect to encounter a larger group near the main entrance to the observatory #1. I would recommend using grenades to kill them, especially since you'll find more of those soon enough. Your objective is to reach a door leading to the last room of the observatory #2.

KILLING FALCONE:

The final boss fight won't be so difficult as it might seem. You'll be going against Falcone and his men. Start off by killing a couple of gangsters #1. Once they're gone retreat to the outer edge of this oval room #2. You'll have an easier job planning your moves from here and you won't have to worry about being surrounded by reinforcements that will show up here in a few moments.

Remember that you can always use your radar to track enemy movements. Prevent Falcone's men from surprising you #1 and stay close to Joe if you can, because you'll both have an easier job staying alive. Notice that grenades and Molotov cocktails can be found on small platforms located in the outer section of this room #2. Collect them as soon as possible.

I would recommend using control booths for cover during final moments of this battle #1. It'll be easier to kill enemies from there, as well as to use grenades against them #2.

Falcone will be defending himself in the central area of the room and you should start attacking him when he's the only one left #1. Thankfully you won't have to change your tactics - wait for him to leave cover and use machine guns or grenades to inflict injuries. Falcone will be more resistant to your attacks than standard enemies, but still it shouldn't take too much time until he's defeated #2.

LEAVING THE OBSERVATORY:

Make sure to check the control booth where Falcone was standing BEFORE leaving this area, because you'll find the last Playboy magazine there #1. Return to the previous area of the observatory. Notice that you may now use the main entrance to leave the building #2. Watch the final cut-scene and... it's over. Congratulations!!
