Chapter 5 - The Buzzsaw - p. 3 Mafia II Guide

LEAVING THE WINERY:

Return to the lower floor #1. You won't have to worry about your colleagues during this part of the mission, because they'll be fine on their own. Instead of using the elevator again proceed towards a staircase located to the left #2.

Make a few steps forward and you'll notice that a huge explosion shook the building. Get ready, because two enemies will soon come through a door seen in the distance #1. Start shooting at them while using one of the pillars for cover. The third opponent will probably remain in the next room. He'll be hiding behind the shelves #2, so prevent him from making a surprise attack.

You'll have to use the stairs again #1 and your objective will be to get to the ground floor. Enter the burning room and choose the central passageway #2, heading towards the exit from the winery seen in the distance. Wait here until Joe and Henry show up and you'll soon watch a new cut-scene.

DRIVING WOUNDED HENRY TO EL GRECO'S HOUSE:

Get ready for a new driving mission. Here are some important things you need to know about:

1) You'll fail this assignment if Henry's health bar (seen in the top right corner of the screen) reaches zero. Your colleague will be losing health over time, so you can treat this driving challenge as a race against the clock.

2) Henry can lose additional health points each time when you hit another car or an object from the environment. You can still make it if you make several mistakes, but there shouldn't be a lot of them, because you won't have enough time to drive to the doctor's estate.

3) Ignore any speed limits, because you won't have to worry about traffic regulations.

4) If you're using the realistic mode you'll have to be very careful about what you do on long straight roads, because a sudden move may result in losing control and having a huge crash.

Start off by destroying two wooden fences #1 #2. Make sure not to lose control over your car, because it could result in crashing into one of nearby walls!

Cops will be chasing you in this driving mission, however as long as you maintain higher speeds they shouldn't catch up to you #1. You'll have a chance to increase your speed while crossing the main bridge #2.

Be careful during the final part of your trip. The doctor's estate is located on a hill and you'll have to drive through a very tricky turn to get there #1. Turn right to find yourself on the driveway #2 leading to El Greco's house. Park the car near the entrance to be rewarded with a cut-scene. Notice that you've received 2000 dollars for this mission.

DELIVERING MONEY TO VITO'S SISTER TO PAY THE DEBT:

You must now return to the apartment belonging to Vito's family (the same one you've visited during the second chapter of the game). I wouldn't recommend using the same car (Culver Empire), because the cops are after it. A much better idea is to steal one of the vehicles parked in front of nearby houses #1. Use the new car to drive to Francesca's home #2 (it doesn't matter where you'll park it).

Choose the same alley as before to get to the entrance to the building #1. Proceed to the first floor and find the door to the apartment #2. Knock on the door and Vito will give Francesca the money she needs.

RETURNING TO JOE'S PLACE:

It shouldn't come as a surprise that you'll have to return to Joe's apartment to end this chapter #1. Interact with the couch #2 when you're ready to move on with the storyline. Get ready for a unique chapter that will take place in a different area and say goodbye to winter in Empire Bay.
