Use the walkthrough if you're having problems finding the collectibles with the description found in this section of the guide.

You should know that the game automatically saves each find, so you won't have to visit the nearest checkpoint to make that happen. For example, if you pick up a magazine, end the game and restart the mission you won't find the item again, because the collectible will already be in your possession. You can use this method to collect some of the objects much easier, including those found in Leo's estate (eleventh chapter).

Found while playing: chapter 2

Location: Examine the table in Joe's apartment (during your visit or later during this chapter).

Found while playing: chapter 4

Location: Near the door with a police vehicle parked outside. You must collect this item before using the stairs to get to the roof of the shopping center.

Found while playing: chapter 2

Location: Go to one of the buildings in the scrapyard after paying Mike Bruski a visit. The magazine can be found inside. You'll have to pick it up before driving to the Lone Star club to steal a vehicle for Bruski, because you won't be able to enter this building later in the game.

Found while playing: chapter 3

Location: Behind the door leading to the building where Maria Angelo lives. Pick up this item before you leave the building to drive Maria to a hospital.

Location: Inside the office of price administration. Find the Industrial Specialist room. The magazine is in a dark area, so you'll have to be thorough.

Location: One of the rooms in the basement of the office of price administration. Make sure to collect this item before leaving the building.

Location: Ground floor of the building where Joe lives. You will have a chance to collect this item after escaping from the shopping center (final part of this chapter).
