This page of the Mafia Definitive Edition guide contains a walkthrough for Betty side mission available in the Free Ride mode. You will learn how to reach the garage, find gas stations and how to unlock Smith Moray, a unique vehicle.
You can learn about this mission by finding Herbert Baskerville's letter in the Free Ride. The letter is found on the table in the room upstairs (the one for planning assassinations).
It has information on where the mission will begin. It is a telephone booth located in the northeast part of the Holbrook district, next to the Salieri Warehouse known from the main missions.
This is a time trial – you have 5 minutes to reach the workshop located in the Works Quarter.
This task is, unfortunately, much more difficult than it might seem. The driving vehicle has holes in the gas tank meaning it is rapidly losing fuel. Once it runs out, the car will move very slowly, making it virtually impossible to pass the time trial. The solution to this problem is stopping at gas stations along the way. When you get to a gas station, press the fuel button.
After each successful refueling, open the city map and plan the shortest route to the next gas station. It will become increasingly difficult for you to get to the next station before your fuel supplies run out.
The first gas station is located in the Holbrook near where the trial began.
The second gas station is located on the border of the Holbrook and Downtown districts.
The third gas station is located in Downtown next to Lucas Bertone's workshop.
The fourth gas station is in the Central Island district. After refuelling, find the shortest route to the workshop in the Works Quarter.
The reward for completing the mission is the Smith Moray vehicle. From now on, you can take it from any garage on the map. The game also allows you to change the colors of the vehicle's body and interior. This car has quite good performance, and is easy to drive.
