Maximum Air

Trophy type: Bronze - Mad Max - Trophies list - Trophies/Achievements - Mad Max Game Guide

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Be airborne in a vehicle for 4 seconds or more and land without dying.

Commentary: This trophy requires a little bit of preparations. Wait until you get access to the best engine and boost. The next step is to find a good place where you can jump - it doesn't have to be a ramp. We recommend the area marked in red in the picture above - the west edge of Chalkies region. Reach the cliff's edge, drive backwards and get enough momentum by using your boost. You should be airborne for 4 seconds or more. Since this is the west edge of the map, you should land safely on small rocks or on sand.

The Guardian

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Complete a Death Run with every Archangel.

Commentary: Death Runs are one of the additional activities in the game. Archangels are predefined vehicles that are constructed out of parts unlocked in the Workshop. An Archangel can be constructed after acquiring all necessary parts. Most of them can be unlocked by completing missions, capturing camps or investigating some of the Scavenging Locations (Car Bodies). There is a total of 16 different Archangels. Visit all Death Run locations and win the races with all 16 Archangels. More information can be found on Death Run and Vehicles and Archangels pages.

The Messenger

Trophy type: Silver - Mad Max - Trophies list - Trophies/Achievements - Mad Max Game Guide

Trophy type: Silver

How to unlock: Complete a Death Run in legendary time with every Archangel.

This is a difficult trophy to get because you not only have to win a Death Run with all 16 Archangels but also you have to beat a legendary time (the one that allows you to get Griffa Token). Your time needs to be better than a minimum one that allows you to win. The symbol that measures time marks places with a line that can't be exceeded (usually it is a dozen of seconds before the end-time - the picture above shows an example). More information can be found on Death Run and Vehicles and Archangels pages.

The Quick Driver

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Complete a Time Bomb Death Run.

Commentary: Time Bomb Death Run is one of the types of Death Runs. Here, you only race with time. Enemies don't try to outrun you. Instead, they want to destroy your vehicle. Try to refrain yourself from fighting with them. Shoot only those vehicles that are the most problematic to you. Win any of these races to unlock this trophy. More information can be found on Death Runs page.

The Saint

Trophy type: Silver

How to unlock: Complete a Death Run in an Archangel.

Drive any of the Archangels and win a Death Run. More information can be found on Death Run and Vehicles and Archangels pages.

The Skilled Driver

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Complete a Barrel Bash Death Run.

Commentary: Barrel Bash is one of the types of Death Runs. These races are a little bit different. "Checkpoints" are placed throughout an entire course and you can't miss any of them - these checkpoints are places with a few explosive barrels placed in a line. Your task is to hit at least one of these barrels per checkpoint. Try to stick at least partially to the route (you can leave a route in-between the checkpoints). A race is failed by missing or not hitting any of the barrels in a checkpoint (you fail even if you won a race). Complete any of these races. More information can be found on Death Runs page.

The Smart Driver

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Complete a Scatter Death Run.

Commentary: Scatter Death Run is of the types of Death Runs. Here, your only goal is to be the first contestant who reaches a finish line. You can ignore a predetermined route and follow your own path. Enemies will do the same. Complete any of these races. More information can be found on Death Runs page.

Up, Up and Away

Trophy type: Bronze - Mad Max - Trophies list - Trophies/Achievements - Mad Max Game Guide

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Fly the balloon at every Vantage Outpost.

Commentary: Vantage Outposts are unique locations. Each one of them has a balloon that you can fly up. Some of them can be used right away while others may require you to, e.g. bring fuel first. The game features a total of 16 Vantage Outposts. More information can be found on Vantage Outposts page in Activities chapter. These locations are also marked on our maps.

Up to the Task

Trophy type: Gold

How to unlock: Complete all non-repeating challenges.

Commentary: Non-repeating challenges are those that can be completed again once you finish them. The game features a total of 144 challenges. This is probably the most difficult trophy in Mad Max because it requires a lot of time. You will also need to perform specific actions. Their descriptions can be found in Challenges chapter. Below you can find the most important information about these activities:

  1. Check out combat challenges, especially those connected to car combat, before you start playing the game. This is important because you can make things more difficult for you by progressing through the story or by controlling a lot of regions - some enemies may become harder to come across.
  2. Don't do anything risky while you are completing the challenges. The game may not count a challenge as completed when Max dies right after finishing it. This means that you will have to try again.
  3. Try to complete all simpler challenges while you are still early in the game. Thanks to that you can get a good number of Griffa Tokens which can be used for upgrading your hero.
  4. Start sending Scavengers right after reaching the first Stronghold. Remember that these challenges require an Internet connection and they are done when you don't play the game. If you leave them for later, you will only extend the overall time spent on the game.

Wasteland of Opportunities

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Complete act 2.

Commentary: This trophy is acquired automatically during the main story line.

Wasteland Chef

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Eat a meal of maggots.

Commentary: This is a rather simple trophy to unlock. During your exploration you can come across corpses with maggots. Approach these bodies and press the interaction button (after noticing the fork icon) to eat.
