When traveling through the Wasteland, you can meet inhabitants in various parts of the map. Usually they comment Max's actions in the game or they can help you find Scrap. In some cases they might give you valuable information about the nearby camp (for example, they can inform you where to look for a secret entrance). You might also participate in some Legendary encounters. By talking with the inhabitants in those points you will receive various tasks. Few targets will be added to the map. Completing them shouldn't be trouble and you will receive Griffa tokens for that.
Important: Not all encounters marked on the maps added to this guide are available since the beginning of the game. Some will appear as a form of reaction to your actions (such as reducing threat level) or after completing specific side missions.
Encounter types
Scavenger encounters and Loot encounters - both encounter types are very similar: drive to the marked location where you will have to perform a simple task (for example, kill few enemies) or you will receive some Scrap after the conversation.
Intel encounters - before assaulting some camps, you can meet with Wasteland inhabitants and gather valuable information from them. Usually they will point you to a chest with parts or to a secret entrance to the camp. Sometimes they will simply comment some events in the game world.
Legendary encounters - during this encounters you will receive simple tasks. After talking, few points that are your objectives will be added to the map. Completing all of them will be rewarded with Griffa tokens. The objectives might vary. Sometimes you will have to perform a few jumps on the ramps, other times you will be tasked with destroying marked trucks or blowing up enemy hideouts.
