This page contains description of the third stage of the game Lust for Darkness. This time you are inside the Yelvertons' mansion where you gather more information on Amanda and the mysterious cult.
Finding Amanda's room
The gameplay starts in a room filled with guests. Take the stairs to the left as shown in the picture above.
Important note - it is better not to pick up any items while around the guests. Your cover can be compromised and you will be taken back to the last checkpoint.
When upstairs, take the left corridor until you get to the room shown in the picture above. You can take a look around and try to e.g. open the other door, then a cultist should appear behind you and inform you that the ceremony is about to start soon, after this sequence you may leave the room.
The puzzle in Amanda's room
After exiting the room, you will see a woman in a white dress, follow her till you reach Amanda's room.
There's a casket on the small table next to the bed. Pic kit up, in order to open it you have to properly adjust the three rings shown above. They have to be adjusted in such a way that the symbols align in the way presented in the picture above.
Inside, you will find a letter from Amanda - read it and leave the room.
The ceremony of the Occultists
After leaving the room you will see some disturbing images. Enter the room with the shining statue and roots, all of the objects will start to disappear.
Now you can get to the ceremony, the entrance is just next to the place where you started the exploration of this level. First, go left and follow the only possible path until you get to a set of stairs. Take the stairs up and follow the corridor till you get to the room depicted in the picture above.
In the room, pick up the figurine that's standing on the desk. After putting the figurine down a cutscene will trigger, then the game will move on to the next stage.
