Fast travel is nearly always available, not counting closed-off story areas. Your character must play the entire song to fast travel, which can be interrupted by performing another action or by an enemy attack. This means you can't easily escape the battlefield by fast traveling.

Fast travel costs money - Lost Ark: Fast travel - how does it work? - Game world - Lost Ark Guide

Fast travel costs money. The fees aren't too high, but they can still make a dent in your budget. You must pay in silver, and the fee increases with distance. Teleporting to a Triport in the same area will only cost you 15 silver, but later on the cost can reach triple digits.

Ocean Liners

Liners are an alternative way to fast travel that allow you to journe between selected continents - Lost Ark: Fast travel - how does it work? - Game world - Lost Ark Guide

Liners are an alternative way to fast travel that allow you to journe between selected continents. It costs several thousand gold and takes about one to two minutes. You can only use the liner to travel between the ports of continents you've already discovered. To use it, head to a port and seek out the person with the Ocean Liner Embarkation moniker. After the conversation, a window will pop up and you will be able to choose your destination. Not all ports travel to every city - sometimes you will need to be prepared for a stopover.

A liner is faster and cheaper than travelling by ship, considering how much you need to pay to fix your ship after the cruise.

Bifrost

Bifrost is unlocked at player level 50. This is the most convenient form of travel: it allows you to set any point on land or sea and move to it instantly with the push of a button. Open the Bifrost panel with the Alt W shortcut. The catch? Time constraints on establishing bifrosts (24h) and how frequently you can use them (2h).

Bifrosts can't be established in enclosed locations (e.g. dungeons), storyline areas, and on islands that only appear at certain times.

These can only be earned in two ways: upon reaching Roster level 60 or through the Ignea Tokens reward (the tokens are awarded for reaching 100% progress in the Adventurer's Tome on the continent).

Those who have purchased the premium service, Crystalline Aura, receive an additional 2 bifrost points to use.

In Lutherra Castle, as part of the main storyline, you will receive the Song of Return - Lost Ark: Fast travel - how does it work? - Game world - Lost Ark Guide

In Lutherra Castle, as part of the main storyline, you will receive the Song of Return. In the centers of the largest cities on the continents, you'll find blue markers similar to triports. These are statues known as Return Points. By interacting with them, you can select one of these locations as your return point. This will allow you to move to the indicated point at any time (wherever you are able to sing the song, which excludes certain areas, for example, the sea and enclosed locations). Limit: once per hour.
