On this page of our Little Nightmares 2 guide, we've described chapter 4 of the game - The Pale City. Here you'll find a walkthrough of the challenges you'll need to face as you venture through the city. In this part, we've covered all the interactions you need to know about to get past the elevators and reach the transmission.
This chapter begins with a quick elevator ride, just after you've set your opponent ablaze in the incinerator.
All you need to do to get out of the hospital is to reach the door, which turns out to be unlocked, allowing you to go through and continue onwards.
Your next task is to open the window. You can't do it alone, but Six will be happy to help you.
Once you manage to get outside, you will have to deal with heavy rainfall. Don't worry though, it won't have any effect on your character's movement. However, you may notice their attempts to shield themselves with their hands if you remain idle for a moment.
Eventually, you will arrive at a dilapidated stairwell. Go up the stairs until you are unable to continue.
Look around for an open door leading to one of the apartments. Simply go through it to progress further.
At some point, you will reach the roof. You must climb to the top of the ladder (to the left), then jump onto the second roof and enter the next apartment.
You won't be attacked in this apartment, you just have to run towards the open door located on the right side of the room.
Your next task is to open the bathroom door. Inside, someone is taking a bath, but they won't pay much attention to you. Simply run towards the ventilation shaft and get out of the apartment.
You will end up in an elevator shaft. You need to complete several tasks here in order to reach the next floor.
Six will show you how to hop down to the elevator. Your task is to enter the elevator and activate the lever. This way you will reach the next floor.
When you arrive at the top, however, you'll suddenly realise that you can't get out of the elevator. You need a key.
Going down the elevator, you'll notice a hole to the right. Jump out of the elevator and climb up the planks to reach the hole in the wall.
This passageway will bring you to the right floor. However, you must get the key to release Six. You won't be able to continue without her.
Immediately head towards the room located on the left.
Your job is to open the drawer. There you will immediately spot a key that you will need to open the elevator door and let Six out.
Head back to Six and release her from the elevator. This will allow you to progress the game.
Six will boost you up to the lever so you can start the elevator again.
This time you won't be getting inside the elevator, but on top of it.
This will take you all the way to the top. Turn right to exit this building.
Crossing the rooftops
Once again you will go out into a downpour. Your task is to reach the subsequent apartment.
First, however, you'll have to avoid some traps and solve a few puzzles. Your first task is to climb up to the roof. You can do this by using the wooden ornament located right next to the door.
Then you must grab the lever and move the hanger closer to Six, so she can grab onto it.
When Six gets hold of the hanger, you'll need to turn the lever the other way to transport her to the balcony.
Don't worry, she won't leave you alone. You have to take a running jump towards her and grab her hand.
Afterwards, you will spend some time climbing ladders. If Six gets stuck somewhere just call her.
When there's no more ladders to climb, use the gutter-pipe. You will be able to clamber up to the next balcony without issue. Don't worry, Mono's weight won't be enough to break this contraption.
Your next task is to get to the window located to the right.
Again, you just have to run to the right while jumping over the holes and opening nearby doors.
Unfortunately, a moment of horror awaits you. You have to run through a crumbling building. Keep running and don't look back.
You will reach a room where you will witness another transmission, but this one will be a little different from the others.
As usual, approach the screen and tune to the right station.
You will fall into a familiar hallway. Keep moving forward to arrive at your destination.
Eventually you will reach the door and be able to open it. Behind it, your next opponent is already waiting for you.
Keep in mind that when you come back out of the screen, the monster will follow after you. You need to run away immediately.
Rush towards the exit before your opponent can get out of the TV.
Run into the children's room and hide under the bed. This is the only way to avoid death.
