As soon as you enter the library you have to watch out for numerous dangers. It features not only traps but also numerous enemies.
Start by quietly stepping off the ledge. You must jump on the books lying on the right side, this way you will not get hurt. If you jump directly off the rack, you will die instantly.
To get further you need to move the ladder. It is not too heavy, so you can move it without any problem.
Move the ladder as far to the right as possible. This way you will jump off further.
When you climb to the top of the ladder, you can jump to the ledge, Mono will grab onto it easily.
It's time to move on. You need to focus. Once you jump between the shelves, you are in for a wild run. If you stop for even a moment, you will lose your life.
Quickly jump up to a higher ledge.
Don't stop, run right in between the books.
This sequence may seem quieter at first glance. However, you must be careful with your every move.
Start by climbing to the top of the first stack of books.
Focusing on the sounds and the woman in the background, you have to sense the right moment to jump to the other stack of books.
A woman's head will be looking for you. You have to focus on her movements then. Move so that she doesn't notice you.
When she lets go and returns to her seat, simply jump off the books onto the railing. You'll be safe there.
Opening the door
To get further, you must open the wooden door. You won't reach them, and there is no other passage around.
You will be helped by a crate of books that lies in the corner of the room. You have to grab it and pull it to the door.
Jump up on the books, from there jump higher, and jump to the door handle. This will open the door and allow you to move on.
Searching for the key
You will end up in a room with a staircase and a locked door.
Your task is to climb up and go to the right. There you will find a puzzle waiting for you to solve.

To enter the room, you must pick up the top of the rook and place it on the pawn. This way you will jump on the piece and reach the handle.
Once inside, you will see a checkerboard. You have to arrange the figures on it properly to get to the key.
If you want to know the rules of this puzzle, you have to reveal a drawing that someone has left on the wall.
If you arrange the figures correctly, a passage will open, revealing the key to you.
With the key in hand, head downstairs. Put it in the door to get out of the room.
