Finding the man
Mac is standing on the bridge. If you check his feelings, you'll see he's frightened. You can start a conversation with him, but it'll go nowhere, as he doesn't want to talk to you.
Riley
Riley's sitting on a bench right behind Charlotte's store. Approach her and talk to her.
You and Riley can talk about your brother, her partner, and Eleanor. She'll happily tell you what's on her mind and what worries her.
If you want to find out her true feelings about her partner, you'll need to check her emotions. This unlocks a new dialog option which allows you to access some important information.
Mac
After talking with Riley go see Mac again. Don't talk to him, immediately check his feelings and delve deep into them.
You'll feel overwhelming fear. Alex will feel everyone's eyes on her, how she's surrounded by cameras, accusations and information about Typhon.
Run after the man, who hid somewhere in blind panic. On your way examine the camera and the new newspaper. Mac thinks its contents are much different to what they actually are.
You'll end up encountering Riley. Bounce off her, turn right and jump over the wall.
If you want to have Mac on your side, you should be nice to him. You know what's inside his head. If you blame Typhon, he'll tell you the truth about what happened at night.
