On this page of our guide to Life is Strange True Colors, you'll find a description of the first moments in the game. You'll meet some people, buy flowers, and get into a vinyl store.
Meeting after years
You will start the game at the bridge in Haven Springs. Alex is waiting to meet her brother, whom she hasn't seen in years.
After entering the bridge, you can indulge in a moment of silence and reflection. Alex enjoys the picturesque views. But if you don't feel like it, you can stop this cut-scene.
Your brother will come out to greet you. He will give you a hug. However, after a short conversation, he will again want to get close to you. You can choose the options Hug or Handshake. If you decide to get another cuddle, Gabe will be very pleased.
When you talk to Gabe, you'll see your secret powers. Alex senses that his brother is not very happy, and he regrets not seeing his sister growing up.
After a short chat, he will take you to the city. You can choose: Let's do it, or I'm nervous. In both cases, you will move to the city.
Florist's
The first shop you visit is a florist's. Gabe has to buy flowers for his girlfriend because there was a fight between them.
Inside, you'll meet Riley. She'll ask you for advice. She's just filling out her college application forms, and she doesn't know if to Be honest or Be clever.
After you talk to Riley, head over to your brother. He'll ask you for advice. He chooses flowers for his beloved. You can help him with that:
- Sunflowers - Gabe admits that his partner likes sunflowers;
- Lily-of-the-valley- Gabe thinks they're good for an apology;
- What did you do?- you won't be much help, but the brother will choose the flowers.
After choosing the flowers, you can explore the shop. There are many things you can watch, but you can only interact with a gnome. Alex can put her sunglasses on it if you choose to do it.
After seeing the whole place, head to Riley's. You can check her emotions. The girl is thinking about college. She wants to go, and at the same time, she doesn't want to leave the city.
Exploring the city
You and your brother with his bouquet will go to the city. You can see various leaflets, headlines, etc.
Gabe's gonna stop by the yoga school. Talk to him or check his feelings. You can do this when a white glowing point appears next to your brother.
Ethan
When Gabe disappears through the door, Ethan will show up. He's the son of Charlotte, who Gabe went to see.
The boy will tell you about his favorite superhero. When he asks you for your opinion on superpowers, You have two choices - Vanishing, my kind of Power or I prefer the Fire Ring.
Ethan will give you his comic book. It is a very important item that you will need later in the storyline. Alex will put the comic book in his bag, and you won't be able to see it until you unpack it.
Ethan will admit he's going to a dangerous place. Alex won't be happy about it, and she'll remind the boy that it's unsafe. But when Ethan says he shouldn't tell you anything, you can say, "No, it's cool" or " Promise you'll be careful." In both cases, the boy will think that nothing will happen to him.
