This page of the guide to LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga contains a walkthrough of the Water Stones side mission. You will learn how to solve the puzzle in Maz's datalog and what's the correct order of jumping across the stone platforms.
General information
- How to unlock: you can do it while playing the Starkiller Queen level in Episode 7 - The Force Awakens, when you first reach D'Qar.
- Reward: Maz Kanata, kyber brick.
Solve the riddle detailed in Maz's datalog
Accept the quest from the quest giver in Maz's Castle, and then read the riddle on the table next to it.
Head to the search area and go to the stone platforms that stick out of the water. The riddle suggests the order in which you must complete each platform.
A copy of Maz's datalog will be by the lake for you to check at any time. You can have one of your characters on the stone platforms, and use another one to read the notes. Astromech Droid will also be next to the datalog, which will help you solve the riddle for a small fee.
Jump onto the platforms in the following order:
- fire,
- water,
- grass.
When new stones come out of the water, jump across them in the following order:
- grass,
- fire,
- water.
Execute this order at the last set of stones:
- water,
- grass,
- fire.
When a large chest emerges from the water, jump into it and pick up the kyber brick. Finally, go back to the quest giver to collect the reward.
