This page in our guide to Layers of Fear 2 contains a description of the puzzle with flowers on the wasteland and the hearts hanging above them. This puzzle appears in the fourth chapter. You can solve it very quickly after you have identified the necessary steps.

You reach the flowers growing on the wasteland shortly after completing the projector puzzle and the lighthouse described on the previous page. This place is presented in the picture above.

You were "teleported" into a new surreal location, but the puzzle itself has a very simple rule. First of all, it is worth noting that the hearts hanging here can be completely ignored. They have no use in this puzzle.

Concentrate on approaching the flowers - you can do that in any order. None of them is unique. Each flower must be pulled out of the ground - point the camera at the flower and hold the interaction key (pressing the key is not enough!). Pull out a few randomly selected flowers - soon, this section will end.
