On this page of the guide to Kena Bridge of Spirits you'll learn how to get through the next main mission, Help Toshi. This mission starts immediately after you complete the Honor Adira quest.

After you receive your new mask you'll be able to go through the Spirit Barrier. To do so, head to the new marker on the map.

Once you arrive, use the mask to open the way forward. After a short cutscene, the barrier will disappear and you'll be able to move on.

Now you need to get through the winter landscape by constantly going up. At the end of the road there's another mask. Use it to gain a new skill, which allows you to pass through Spirit Barriers. You'll need this skill during later missions.

You'll gain the ability after a cutscene and talking to an NPC. Not only does it allow you to pass through barriers, it also gives you the ability to reliably dodge enemy attacks or materialise spiritual opponents.
